Your camera takes Nikon-mount lenses. All of their current auto-focus lenses will work with your camera, such as the "D" series, and certainly the newer "G" series. The "DX" lenses are specifically designed for digital cameras and do not cover the full frame of a 35mm camera.

Older Nikon lenses (AI-S) for instance, will work on your camera but will not auto-focus (they are manual focus lenses) and depending on the lens, may not meter properly.

Hope this helps!

EAch camera style uses it's own 'mount' or way of attaching. YOur camera uses (most likely) a Nikon Mount. Check the book which came with your camera and it will tel you what to look for.

So, armed with this information, you can go to a camera shop, or a website and look for any lens which mounts using the same mount.
