Our love for God is in response to the love he has shown us...even before we were born! He sent His Son to die so that we may have eternal life with Him. How many of us could say we love Him enough to send our son to be flogged, beaten, spit on, and crucified for even evil hearted people? Some would give their life for a good person, but would you for a murderer, drug addict, pedophile , or serial killer? He died for ALL, that ALL might be saved. He loves us that much. What have you done to top this act of love? Love doesn't need a reward. It is it's own reward.

Love never goes unrewarded! God does not hand out rewards in the since of winning a lottery or any kind of material wishes. But, to truly love God fills the soul and spirit with a sense of purpose that I find truly rewarding. The deep loving relationships with my husband and children, my Mother, my sisters and the people I call friends are more reward than I dreamed possible for this Earth. And I believe will continue to the next.....
Peace be with you.

No , I don't think it goes unrewarded. Sometimes it may seem like it does what with praying and seemingly not always getting results. But the way I see it is that God's love for you is manifested in his great gift of life

Love for God does not go unrewarded. People say they love God with lip service but that is about the extent of their love. They say they love God but they do nothing to show that love for him and they still think that they are supposed to be rewarded for it. Jesus said "If you loved me you would keep my commandments". Actions speak louder than words and that is what gets rewarded your show of your love for him. Would you have a spouse that you always told "I love you", yet you never showed them?

I do not think so I have fasted for thirty days before and my prayer was answered. Not saying that is always the case just that loving God is always rewarded. The problem is you should not love him or worship only if a reward is what you want then you will not get anything.

Love for God is given unconditionally without expectation of reward. If there is expectation of reward, then there may not be a true love for God. Look at your life and instead of singling out where there are no rewards, look at where God has given reward. God gives us many blessings regardless of our love. The more we love and respect ourselves and those around us the more blessed we are and the more rewarded we feel.

Defenetly not, God brings to us great rewards in sometimes subtle ways! Everything happens the way it is supposed to,even if it takes years to figure out why! Sometimes i feel like i'm in the book of job and stuck there! Other times life is great, Our pathway is already written, and good things do happen to those who pray and believe in him. Last time I tried to tell God how my life was gonna, go he jsut laughed:)

Not really. I love him and I feel my life is in perfect harmony. I think that our regard for him as a planet has failed miserably. Too many haters and non-believers out there. All's I know is that when judgment day comes, I'll be laughing at all those on their way to Hell.

Sincere love for God would accompany belief and faith in him and his Son Jesus Christ. The reward for believing in Him is eternal life with him free from the burden of sin. Don't you want to live in paradise for all eternity?
