would the first thing they ask be for God to show Himself or prove Himself?

When did I EVER suggest praying to Yahweh, or Allah, or Buddah for that matter?

If so many atheists have "wasted" time praying and studying, why should I not believe that your disbelief is as much a product of denial and that you are now trying to coerce supportfrom others for that very denial?
What did you "ask" God for? What convinces you that he didn't answer that prayer?

no i was talking about YOUR God.i DON'T "pray" to Buddha anyway...he's a great teacher, not a deity and he never claimed to be.

Most atheists spent a lot of time in prayer and study before coming to the conclusion that there is no god. I wonder, have you spent that much time in prayer and study?

Atheists can believe or not, that's their choice but from my experiences I know that some prayers are better left unanswered because if every prayer that I said came true life would be a disaster for me

I've been asking him to prove himself by presenting my with a double jointed nympho maniac and enough money to enjoy my double jointed nympho.
But considering he proved himself countless times in the New Testament he should have no problems doing it now... I'm waiting.

Even before I realized I was an atheist I didn't pray.
I was half a second from death and I never thought to pray. In fact if I had prayed I'm sure I would be dead.

As an atheist, that would be the last thing on my mind, no matter how bad things got. Life is hard, you just have to deal with it with logical, critical thinking, not a belief in a fairy tale.

How can you just assume they would try praying to the God of the Bible? Wouldn't it make more sense for that atheist to pray to Athena, goddess of logic? Once again you act like you are the only religion around.

Since they are atheist, they aren't going to ask God for anything, because they don't believe in God.

There are a lot of atheists who are ex-believers, so they would have tried praying already.
