Yes God wanted His Son to pay the price for our sin- however Jesus willingly gave up His life- In the Garden of Gethsemane , Jesus even asked the Father to remove this death from Him- but Jesus said- "Not my will, but thine be done". He had thousands of angels that could have saved Him. He knew long before the foundations of the world that He would be sent into the world to save us from our sin.

They did not have child abuse back then and plus if it is consider child abuse i'm thankful for it , b/c jesus died to forgive me of my sins.

no God did want to send only son to die on the cross. but he knew that it was the only way the world could be saved from sin. jesus paid the ultimate price for you and me. he give his life freely that we might have eternal life. it because he shed his blood on calvary. that we are able to be saved from sin. Jesus said no one takes my life from i lay it down freely that's how he loved us.
