Why would that be a major victory? If anything, it brings to light that Herod was a murderer, very materialistic and built things in his own honor which have crumbled over time.
Jesus, on the other hand, didn't kill anyone, didn't own anything and yet left a faithful belief which has spanned centuries and countries.
In Jerusalem, just a short distance from Herod's grave is the Victory of the EMPTY tomb...

No. Maybe a while back when the historicity of Herod was a matter of debate, it might have some small significance, but that's no longer the case.

I saw an episode of Star Trek: TNG where they traveled back in time and met Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens).

Since Samuel Clemens was a real person, that must mean that androids and time travel are real, right? And that the crew of the Enterprise actually met him?

The story in Matthew is fiction. Even Luke doesn't mention Herod in his Nativity story.

Only if it's dated to AFTER Jesus was born. No one denies that Herod actually existed. He's in all sorts of historical records. Jesus, on the other hand...

p.s. Herod died in 4 B.C. in Jericho.

I think a bigger victory would be finding something like the garden of Eden or the ark of the Covenant or the tablets inscribed with the 10 Commandments or something like that.
