I found 1 flea on my puppy. The puppy is 1 milisecond old should I wash him with dial antibacterial soap?

No, do not use that kind of soap. Get a puppy version of a flea/tick shampoo. If a flea go on a "New' born puppy, the mother or the area of birth (house,yard etc) was already infected. Treat the mother and the house. Consult your veternarian as to when you can put the mother and the puppy(s) on one of the many anti flea medications. Hope this helps!

Good God NO! If the puppies have fleas, you treat the Mom with flea treatment and in turn, that treats the puppies. You NEVER do things like that to a newborn pup!!!

there is a pill out you can get at the vet called Capstar. Its an amazing pill. You give the dog 1 and within 30 minutes any and all fleas that come into contact with your dog will die. never had a problem with fleas ever since I got it.

No! The pup is much too young! Put a little dab of Vaseline on your finger and look all through the puppy's fur and when you see a flea dab it. The flea will suffocate instantly and there is no harm to the puppy.

You know for this problem I read here on YA that you should put used motor oil on the dog or maybe sevin insecticide. I hope this helps. BTW it is the wrong dish washing liquid, you should use only dawn lemon scented dish soap. LMAO
