I think you have a anxiety panic disorder since you have fear of losing control. Also depression.
You should talk to your dr about different medication that you can be on. It really helps and also conseling will help.
good luck

Your main problems seem to be low self-esteem which causes depression, and perhaps some anxiety.

It is possible to treat these problems with therapy and perhaps medication. Some antidepressants (such as Lexapro) can treat both depression and anxiety. However, while medication can aleviate some of the symptoms you are experiencing, it will not solve the cause of your symptoms: low self-esteem.

Therapy can really help with self-esteem issues, if you are really willing to listen to what the therapist has to say and work at it. There are also some things that you can do on your own to improve your self-esteem. One important thing that you can do is make a list of things that you like about yourself. Try to come up with as many as you can; don't worry if your list is small, it will expand as time goes on. Now, whenever you think something bad about yourself, try to counter that thought with a compliment from your list.

Another thing that might improve your mood is making sure you have a healthy lifestyle. Try to eat a balanced diet, exercise a half an hour everyday, drink plenty of water, and get eight hours of sleep at night. If you feel better physically, chances are this will also help to improve your mood.

I would suggest that you visit a mental health professional to get their professional opinion about your symptoms. Although people from the medical profession can give their opinions online in this forum, it is impossible to give a diagnosis without seeing the patient in person.

The best way to go about getting an appointment with a mental health professional is through your general practitioner. Make an appointment with them to discuss your symptoms. They will eliminate any possible physical causes for your symptoms and will then refer you to a mental health professional who will be able to evaluate your psychological health. From there you can explore different options for treatment of your diagnosis. I hope this helps.

You didn't recently start taking a BCP, did you? Yaz made me feel most of these things. Could be a drug interaction, or it could be something like bi-polar or an anxiety disorder - see a doctor asap

The symptoms that you are suffering could be due to depression, insomnia, anxiety disorder, bipolar mood disorder, inability to control yourself which you yourself may not be aware of.

Please consult a doctor and if he/she is unable to treat you, they will refer you to an appropriate medical specialist.

I am a mental health professional. You need to get to physician and either a psychologist or counselor very soon. I can't diagnose you over th internet but it sounds similar to bi-polar. AT the very least you have severe depression. Please seek help ASAP
