But it wasn't just the flood, it was the flawed plan and the future of eternal torment destined for the majority of the creation that probably pushed him over the edge.
I wouldn't stand by and worship such a monster either. Yes, I have morals, and my morals would lead me to lead the rebellion to overthrow such an abominable monster too.

Satan was one of Gods angels that tried to take over and God cast him out of heaven. Again showing he is in control. Making him what he is today. Satan is the real monster! God and all he does, has done and will do is perfect and Just! I would be more worried about the Fire that will destroy the earth if I were a nonbeliever, than what has already been done.

You are thinking as man thinks.
Babies that die will be taken to heaven at the resurrection. It was better for them to die than to grow up in an evil environment.
God knows that. That's why it's not a big deal.
I would rather have been one of those babies than to live in this world the way it is today... but God put me here for a reason, and I accept that.
Satan's rebellion was out of pride. He wanted to be worshiped. He was a megalomaniac.

All the babies are in the better place. Satan has never worked for God. He had a free will. His choice might not end up being so pleasant in the end. Satan is not going to be in heaven with those babies.

Your question is little more than a cheap shot.
First: Satan rebelled before Eve was created.
That 'drowning' you refer to, was centuries later.
Second: Did it ever occur to you that the flood was an act of righteousness?
That anyone who wished could have been in the ark?
That violent, rebellious parents kept their children from entering?
If you are going to point fingers, point them in the right direction.

Very likely, Orion. But I am amazed to see many "Christians" who claim that it was ok for their God to kill inocent children, and yet they claim that "the children are in a better place", or that "God made the babies, he can do whatever he wants".
How can such a God be considered a God of love?

You(some) atheists amuse me. You bring up events that we believe to be HIS-storical fact and what you believe to be false, and attempt to question us on why it happened. It's almost like you're saying "I am human, therefore all the babies that died in the flood were a part of me. Now I want reparation for all the harm God has done." Re-read Romans 9, lad!

The flood had not happened yet when he rebelled...
Correction: Satan does NOT know the mind of God, He knows the word of God-not His mind. Big difference.
Now, if we need to be blaming things, blame Satan for the fall of man.

From beginning to end of the Bible the only ones that destroy life on a citywide or global scale are God his angels and his people.Unfortunately for us today, the ones created in God's image also have this ability. Guess it's a family trait.
