(Noah's Flood)

If you have a mind and morality that is capable of believing a just and loving god would drown every baby on the planet, what else are you capable of believing? What other monstrous, heinous act can you justify?

Have -any- of you ever even tried to imagine a baby drowning? multiplied to include -every- baby on the planet?

Ok i wasn't originally going to respond to this but i saw John H's answer and i just had to say something about it......

To John H.... Are you being sarcastic or are you really that RETARDED???? Maybe god allowed the babies to ENJOY drowing???? Are you f**king mental??? Will you christians find ANY excuse to justify the out-right monstrous behavior of your "god" according to your fairy tale book???

You're against abortion because it's the murder of babies..... But you think that god flooding the world & killing every man & woman and more specifically.. the babies..... was "Alright" because "maybe god allowed the babies to enjoy the drowning through his LOVE" ???? What "LOVE" is there to destroy the planet in an all-encompassing flood?? do you know what it's like to drown? Trying to hold your breath but eventually your body reacts by attempting to breath & you can't fight it..... Your lungs burn as they fill with water and you suffer as your body slowly & painfully shuts down from the lack of oxygen. What kind of loving god sentences his creations to such a death??

If drowning was a death penalty people would think it was barbaric, but they seem to think that it was ok for god to do because everyone deserved it!

There are some SICK people on this planet!!!

Dear Orion,

May I remind you that Noah preached for 120 years that God's judgment was going to fall. Every person on land far and near had heard of Noah-there was only 1 continent before the flood. Therefore, evry person had an aopportunity to go into the ark.

The remarkable thing is that God did not destroy everyone, because we have ALL rebelled against Him and broken His laws. It is only the mercy of God that 8 people were saved.

I can say the same thing about Sodom and Gomorrah. We do not know how many people there were in those cities, but 3 people found grace in God's sight. The sad thing is that many people have access to the Bible today--they know of God's law and His past judgments. Yet they mock God and "dare" Him. I tell you that they do not know who they are dealing with....

God loves children. They were immediately with the presence of the Lord when they died. We all die one way or another. God gives life and takes it away.

God is loving. God is kind. When you think of the big picture His promises are kind.

We should learn from these stories. Are you happy that you did not live then? The way you relate to God is the key. Yes, God drowned all the people, but He gave His promise that He will not flood us again like that. I believe the next time is with fire. I totally trust God. It is not easy to be in the midst of what God is up to, but I know He will take care of me because I belong to Him. : )

as a Jew I'd like to say that JEW4MESSIAH is speaking on behalf of a very very small fracture of Jews who are very very OFF THEIR ROCKERS

you cant be a Jew and believe that jesus was, is and will ever be the messiah. the two religions cannot coexist together.

I respect Christians opinions and views and think that as long as they believe in a higher power and want to lead a moral life then that's super. But I will not stand by as this JEW4MESSIAH tarnishes the name of Jews everywhere.

I hope no one here thinks that his skewed views hold any weight at all here or in the Jewish religion.

The first thing that you have to remember is that the bible was written hundreds of years after jesus died, or disappeared,
whatever. Stories were passed from generation to genaration. Every time a story is told it changes, people expand the story to make it more interesting or to scare the masses into beleiving in their god. The bible is a legend (just like CAMALOT) based on events that happened long before and a little may be fact but most is likely made up by people (who if they were alive todoy would be authors or hollywood type people)

Can you justify questioning a God that gave you and the young man in your picture life?
And if I'm not mistaken, didn't Noah give ample warning? He told the people what would happen.
If you don't look before you cross the street, who's fault is it if you get ran down? It sounds like you'd blame the driver, when it was your own foolishness that caused it to happen.
Others could have been saved. They just didn't want to listen.
That's not God's doing. That was theirs.
God loves you. Even though you don't want Him to.

For one you should remove your child or grandchild’s photo from the internet. Secondly it also says in the bible it rains on the just and the unjust. And when we step out of God’s will not only do we risk ourselves but our actions can have consequences on innocent bystanders.

And as an after thought, what are your views on the war going on right now, and the innocents that are dying? Is it justified? Because of the greater good is it ok to bomb third world countries to kill their babies? Most see it as casualties of war, something heinous that must be done to protect the U.S. Something to think about. Maybe that’s a dilemma that God had to face. Save the world or let those children grow up in a life of misery and sin. Just food for thought. Not to sure where I stand on that one.

OK...what... are you trying to convert Christians toooooo....What. Can you visualize that same baby growing up to be a young lady and then have that same girl get raped and murdered by the same majority of people that God was wiping out....I'm starting to think we need another flood because I would rather have a baby drown then having then get a little bit older and being raped, murdered, or worse.

God looked at men and only found Noah to be walking in His way. God love all of us but He do not love the sin people are doing. You are born in sin. God Bless

What excuse do women have planned abortions after becoming pregnant? First of all God is Supreme. Sin has consequences. Baby may be innocent but they do grow up in a sinful world and by nature are born into sin. God knows the heart of even a baby. He knows if their heart was full of evil before birth like in the story of the birth of Esau and Jacob. Esau did not have a heart towards God but Jacob did.

Genesis 25:22-34 KJV
(22) And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.
(23) And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
(24) And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
(25) And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
(26) And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
(27) And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
(28) And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
(29) And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
(30) And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
(31) And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
(32) And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
(33) And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
(34) Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.

Esau sold his birthright the most precious gift of God's blessing on him as well as his family of the promises of God.

So Esau heart was known even from birth and was known he would not inherit his birthright.

So far as babies in womb at the time of the flood God knew the heart of each and every one. God said Noah was the only one that found favor in His eyes.

Genesis 6:5-9 KJV
(5) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
(6) And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
(7) And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
(8) But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
(9) These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

If you take time to really study and stop skimming you will see these details of the story. It might seem like work but when you take time to read you will see God's justice as well has His mercy and most of all His love.
