It's very sweet of you to be worried about your friend but please remember that there is only so much you can do to help her.
With all these skinny models and celebrities it's hard to keep realistic about what is "normal", but 5ft 3 and 115 pounds is a perfect ideal weight for your friend (and a bit on the low side even)....so, somehow she needs to be shown that in the "REAL" world, she is perfectly normal.
The only way is for her to feel confident about herself and to feel beautiful.....and to stop reading beauty magazines! They do make you feel fatter! :-(
If you can get the help of other people that she knows, if not her parents, other friends, some adults, anyone.
I don't know if this is possible, but sometimes your School can organize someone to come and talk to students about their experiences - like ex-alcoholics, ex-drug addicts and it can really touch the students and make them realize how easy it is to get caught up in these things. Perhaps you can ask your school to get some guest speakers in? To hear it from someone who knows, how they've lost their teeth from puking so much with bulimia, how they have become infertile from years of abusing their body can really hit home hard. Your friend needs to hear it straight and from someone who knows what she is going through. She is only 11 and this needs to be stopped now.
Please reassure her as much as you can but you can't do this alone, it needs lots of people to keep telling her the same message over and over until she believes it! :)

OMG! You should probably talk to her about it and maybe start a an athletic thing with her because she isn't fat but she needs to loose a little weight because I'm 12 and i weigh 100 but an average 11 year old needs to weigh probably maybe 95 so you 2 should maybe go jogging everyday and then eat healthier food and last TALK SOME SENSE INTO HER!! Search the Internet on things that can happen 2 her if she decides to become bulimic! Then show her them and see if it helps her change her mind just tell her to run and jog and eat better things!

your friend is 11, and shouldnt be thinking about becoming bulemic.
tell her if she thinks shes fat, then go on a diet. a healthy diet. fruits and veggies, enough to be able to get the nutrition an 11 year old needs. she shouldnt be thinking about becoming bulemic. that will ruin her for life, not only with the greusome side effects of being too skinny, but its mentally harmful.

Like the others said, you need to tell a counselor at school or a trusted adult. If she finds out you told someone and is mad about it, oh well! That is what friends are for, and she will probably thank you later. Even if she decides not to be friends anymore...it's worth saving a life!!!

i weigh that much, and am 5'4 and 15. many people think that i have an eating disorder, but i dont. i even think that i am way too skinny. i think that she should gain some weight if anything. tell her that because of her heath in mind, you will tell her parents and the school principal or something to scare her out of doing it. you know that parents would be the first to do something about it. dont let her do it. i know someone that is, and she looks horrible. good luck.

Your friend should really talk to her parents and then maybe get some therapy. She if far from fat from you description. If you are really that worried, tell your parents and maybe they can speak to her parents. She's far too young to be worried about how skinny she is. Good Luck.

She is definitely not fat, the best thing to do would to encourage her to talk to her parents about it. Her problem is serious and she needs help BEFORE she becomes bulimic.

Be positive about her appearance. But understand that if your friend has a false image of herself and is inclined to an eating disorder, YOU cannot stop it. She will need professional help.
(Try being a little less dramatic...it might have a calming effect on both of you.)
