The King James Bible is the version that mistranslated the Hebrew word "r'em" as unicorn (See Numbers 23:22, for example).
The term is more correctly translated as wild ox, and in some translations, as a rhinoceros.

I've read there are different versions of the bible-the Book of Job talks about two different animals, Leviathan & (?) which some people claim are descriptions of dinosaurs but others say describes a hippotamus and some water animal, like a crocodile. I guess there might be a description somewhere that's vague enough to be used as a description of a unicorn but I don't know of any specifically

It's a mistranslation. other english versions refer to a wild ox... actually that's wrong too, but the original refers to an actual animal.
It's a shame your god could not protect his holy book from mistranslations.
