Generally because they know what they want from life and know how to get it and they have more, shall I say technique in bed. To sum it up they are more mature. Unfortunately, all of the older good looking guys I like are married so I have to stick with the guys my age, who aren't really that bad.

Some of the shallow ones go for older men because older men tend to have better careers and more money. Some women just don't think of age as a factor, though, and go for any man that treats them well and makes them happy. Others are tired of dealing with the immature 20-something guys. Sorry, not all 20 something guys are immature, but the ones that are give the rest a bad rap.

I dont know how much older you are talking about, but I have NEVER dated a guy the same age or younger than me. I just feel like I am dating a little boy or something. I usually go for older guys because they are more mature, seem to have their life together more, and they are more ready for a functional relationship.
Its like you said, I think most girls go for older guys, and the part about them being in their 20s could be due to the fact that they are ready to find the man to settle down with, and an older man is just usually a better choice than a younger one who doesnt have "all of his running out yet".

I'm 20 years old and i can relly relate this question because in my age right now,i prefer older men,WHY? because older men are more mature and most of them are stable,they have jobs already which i think can feed me and support me...HHEhehheeh lol! but anyway for me i love older men because they more serious enough and they have good insights of relationship,they are knowlegdeable enough to handle relationship not like younger ones,they mind are full of foolishness or the good term i can describe is LATAGAW in our local dialect!

Older men are more mature and experienced. They also know what they want in life and they are more likely to be finacially secure.

haha, because older men are more mature for the most part and that attracts younger women.
they say women mature faster then men, and im inclined to believe "them" however i've never experianced this...

they also treat the lady with more respect and caring --- they are more giving emotionally and time wise and (speaking as an older guy) they are better lovers more considerate and interested in giving rather than receiving --- at least in general there will always be exceptions

because women are essentially after a "daddy" figure and for all the womens lib rubbish, you just want to be treated like a woman and looked after.
