Would Jesus see the religious right in Israel and America as the Romans and Pharisees regarding Palestinians?

Are the politicians in Israel and America who advocate humiliation and terror towards the native population of Palestine like Pontius Pilate or Judas Iscariot?

I personally haven't seen any evidence of Americans humiliating and terrorizing Palestinians. I may have missed that so I would be eager to see some proof. With egregious acts like that being performed I'm sure that the media has recorded it somewhere. On the major point, Jesus is aware of all that occurs. His two commandments, love God and love your neighbor, are more than adequate yardsticks for Him to measure bad and good behavior. Pontius Pilate 'washed his hands of it' - Judas was in it for the money - I therefore don't see these men as being 'guilty' of advocating terror and humiliation. But, that isn't up to me to decide.

Well since Jesus was Jewish he would obviously advocate a Jewish state in Israel....especially since his dad promised Israel to the Jews.

Didn't Jesus tell Christians to lead crusades to free the Holy Land from the Palestinians? Didn't they murder, rape, and pillage in His name there? So really, aren't we just following the will of Jesus when we humiliate and terrorize the people who stole Zion from the Jews and called it Palestine?

They can't really be compared. The Jews of Jesus' day didn't employ suicide bombing. The most we know about a counter movement came in the form of zealots, a group intent on overthrowing Rome. One of Jesus disciples was one. Simon? Can't remember. Either way, I've often made comparisons with pious conservative Christian party in the states with the Pharisees. All about the rules, nothing about the person... WWJD? He would be loving people like crazy and most likely spending most of his time in ministry among the lost Jews, Gentiles, and even the Palestinians...

you cant be a Jew and believe that jesus was, is and will ever be the messiah. the two religions cannot coexist together.

I respect Christians opinions and views and think that as long as they believe in a higher power and want to lead a moral life then that's super. But I will not stand by as this JEW4MESSIAH tarnishes the name of Jews everywhere.

I hope no one here thinks that his skewed views hold any weight at all here or in the Jewish religion.

The politicians running the Israeli government are Jews by name only, as is the American admin Christian by name. Neither take religion remotely seriously by any means.

Isaiah 52:13-53:12, and also said Jesus would be God almighty- Isaiah 9:6 "Unto us will be born a child, a Son is given, and he will be almighty God and the prince of peace."

the problem is we have to do what the good shepherd Messiah Jesus says "I love you repent quickly from your sin (even one lie), Behold I knock on your heart door if you hear my voice and opent he door, I will come in and begin a fellowship with you and you with me, if you repent and ask me in." Revelation 1:1, 3;19&20 and chapters 19-22 about the joy of heaven in salvation, and the agony of hell weeping forever for those that refuse the voice of Messiah Jesus.
