You would expect these two to slug it out but no they were basically just "sparring" like when they do in training. I want my money back. It wasnt even close to entertaining. De la hoya needs to retire. If you want entertainment... see a PACQUAIO fight... win or lose... its very entertaining. A rematch its not worth watching. Its like looking at OLD people fight... both are afraid to get hurt. BORING.... BORING... BORING.

The fight was quite boring because De La Hoya had to chase Mayweather around the ring. They both lloked like they were scared to slug it out. I think they were both afraid they were going to get knocked out if they really fought like they should have.
Yes you are right anytime you watch PACQUAIO it is a great fight no matter what because the other fighter may not fight but he is sure gonna give you a show.

Boom Boom Batista & Rocky gave a classic blue print of what a boxing match should be. If more of the big name "fighters" fought like Boom Boom, Pacquiao, Berrera, in fact all the of lower wieght class, Win or Lose, then boxing will have chance surviving the sporting world. But let's face most boxers, especially the big name, are afraid to bruise a little (a.k.a Mayweather, Jones Jr.). There afraid that it will demage there PRETTY face or, god forbid, destroy their perfect record. Remember it's the quality of fights that count not how perfect your record is. You lose to a "NAME" fighter, and at the same time you gave 110% (meaning, actually boxing, not giving feather shots & run away) in the match, that is more then enough to earn any boxing fan respect.

far from boring, it was quite good, but not up there with the best boxing matches. I argee that most of pacman's fights are great to watch, but this fight was by no means bad....just look at calzaghe-manfredo....awful stuff

I am just glad boxing can get that type of hype. There are far more entertaining fighters like emanual agustus.
