The Avatars do have a certain pixyish charm, and I would be the first to admit that I find decedents of the fey folk attractive.
What disturbs me is that they seem so young (at least the female ones). I have to superimpose an idea of the Avatar being at least 18 to even consider the question.
I have seen some better Avatar (like) programs that give more variety and options, too: Laugh lines & dimples, overlay of more shapes simultaniously (2 hair styles for a layered effect), the ability to adjust location of shapes (to give more unique facial designs and a slightly a-symetric look).
Is it just me who finds it disturbing when someone else posts and their Avitar looks a lot like yours (it does not help that they only show busts).

My avatar is actually the head of actor Robert DuVall, from the movie that bears my user name, THX1138. He is a few years my senior, but still undoubtedly more of a hot old dude than I am. Although I am generally considered handsome, I definitely resemble a mixture of Albert Einstein, Don King, and an overweight Elmer Fudd with too many teeth missing.

The mysterious qualities of this avatar allow people to read all sorts of things into it. Including sexual attractiveness, orientation and gender.
If I was devious enough to follow through, Avi probably wouldn't have to spend the evenings at Pub R&S.
