"He did," they say. Of course, in so saying, they're implying that their own cult is privy to that "truth," and that at least 3/4 of the rest of the world is deluded and "unsaved." Which is your point!
The "real" answer is that every culture has created God in its own image, so the differences between religions are primarily just formalized differences between cultures.

I suppose if there actually was one god then there would be no problem at all.
Truth is there are as many gods as there are people that believe there is a god.
Simply that god is in your mind and no place else and he is not exactly the same for any two of you. I say you because i know better than to believe such tings.
You can talk to him any time you like. Just try and do it where others are not around or you might be put in a straight jacket.
The only reason so many of you believers do not talk to your god is because you were told he does not talk to us direct.
Now why would the people in power tell most of us such a thing?? Well now if you talked to your god then you would not need the preacher or cleric or what ever. How could they get you to do what they want you to do such as give your wealth to them and live poor while they live very well. Just take a good look at the Vatican. I do believe that is one very wealthy place. Most likely much more so than they would want you to know.
I could go on for another long time but I think you get the picture and I do hope some of you do think a little. I know most of you that say you believe will not think but just react negatively.

Hi Resis. God could explain it very plainly, but that would do no good. No one would be saved, unless God wanted to save them. Judas Iscariot walked with Christ every day, saw Peter walk on water and saw most of the miracles that Jesus did, but still betray Him.
The terrible truth is God does not want everyone to understand the True Gospel. Even reading and explaining the Gospel to an unsaved person will do no good. God teaches us in Matthew 13:13:
“Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.”
God tells us that He does not intend to save everyone in the world. In Acts 28:27 He tells us:
“ For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”
All we can do as Christians is spread the Gospel. The rest is up to God. God is Merciful and He takes no delight in sending a sinner to Hell, we should cry out to him. Try praying the sinners prayer, “Lord have mercy on me, for I am a sinner.”

He did.
You are incorrectly attributing to God, the handywork of Satan. It was indeed God, who communicated clearly through his prophets, and his son, exactly what we need to know. It is Satan, who has been most busy in misdirecting and muddying up the clarity and simplicity of God's truth. Fortunately, God foretold that this would happen, and instructed us to stick to the things written. Finding the truth is relevant to each person's figurative 'heart' condition. A person who is asking from the perspective of you-that somehow God is responsible for the confusion created by Satan and evil men, is perhaps not ready to receive the simple and heartwarming truth about God's Kingdom, yet that doesn't mean you never will. What I suuggest, is at least read the Bible once-cover to cover, and begin your journey to the truth by visiting various religions.
I did this, and over the course of many years found the clarity of scripture I never fathomed I would have received.
You can too. Trust these words, the confusion is not God's fault.

Because god is one tricky bastard who doesn't have room in the inn for everyone. So rather than add on to the hotel, he wastes time casting souls into some eternal pit of damnation. Probably more fun than dealing with contractors.

God wants all of his children to be saved. However there are many of his children who don't want to be saved and if given the choice would rather not. For this reason God has sent us here to earth to help us discover what we really want. Part of the test is based on faith. If he told us everything faith would be lost. In Ephesians it says that "faith is the substance of things not seen" We have to have agency in order to exercise faith. So we have to have differences of oppinions to chose from. through all of this a loveing and all knowing God has provided a place for us to find our true selves and if we desire it return to him some day.

Or...there is nothing to be saved from...and so occassionally sending messengers and teachers to say "be nice" is all that is needed.
Perhaps no religion has it right, but no religion is totally wrong...and what is important is the effort to divinity and the relationship with God...nothing else.

He has done that for thousands of years, He did it with Moses, with His Son, and through this generation. God wants everyone to be saved but He respects free will, it is senseless to just break the faith factor.

He did, and He does want everyone to be saved.
Man is the one that's getting in the way of many things, not to mention also the devil is working against us, confusing matters, blinding people to the truth.
