As do I, As do I. i lose ALOT of weight by simply cutting out soda, sugary drinks, and junk food. Avoid foods and snacks high in sodium, and sugar. If you eat fast food go for the small sizes not the larger, and skip the drink, get water or something of that sort. Also not drinking sugary juices and soda will keep your skin clear, and you'll have more energy.

It would be helpful if you told us what sort of foods you eat lots, as we can't tell you to cut down on anything if you don't let us know! You shouldn't avoid things completely, per se, just don't thing in huge amounts!

And as for tips, try drinking more water. It's said that you should drink a ml of water for every calorie you eat, as water is needed to break down the food, etc. It'll also help clear your system out more, which isn't what you asked for, but it's good nonetheless!

Ermm... try some new food? I like trying new healthier things, so you could try getting into a habit of trying a new thing each week or something! It's fun, and it will help find new food that you probably wouldn't have tried before! But there's a rule! Healthy food only! Over time, it could help bring better food into your diet and such.

Maybe when you're eating a big meal you should try eating the veggies/healthier stuff first to help fill yourself up? If you think you're eating too much, or you'd like to cut down, then this might help. It's quite hard to adjust to this, but eating five smaller meals a day instead of 3 big ones will help, as it'll stop you from getting hungrier inbetween, which will stop you from snacking as much!

If you do your own shopping, then try cutting out something unhealthy every week and replacing it with some veggies instead!

Yeah.. thats all the advice I have; hope I helped a teensy bit!

Its simple really, you need to burn 500kcal more a day than you are taking in, go to www.caloriesperhour.com on there you will find an activity calculator, you should write down everything you do in one day, even stuff like walking around the house, brushing your hair, driving etc. Its all on there, then you can work out exactly how many calories you burn. Then you need to keep a food diary of what you eat and just make sure that it is 500kcal less than you use and you will loose weight.

Also, exercise!!!! Its the best way to loose weight and tone up! Muscle mass is very important while you are dieting, you will get the most out of any diet by exercising and you will see results quicker! Also if you burn 500kcal in the gym thats more calories you will be able to enjoy in healthy foods!

Just make sure you eat a balanced diet. Plenty of veg, salad, fruit and pulses. Dont forget meat and fish and diary they are all very important. Cut out fast foods, take aways, crisps, anything high in saturated fat and artificial sugars.

Try spreading your calorie allowance out so that you have

A GOOD Breakfast (shredded wheat and soya milk, museli, omlette, fruit etc.)

Mid morning snack (apple, handful of raisins, apricots, carrot sticks and humous etc.)

Dinner - salad, ham in pitta bread etc.

Afternoon snack (as mid morning) and a small portion hot meal for tea.

I don't think you need to avoid any particular food unless you are allergic to them. Aim for a balance diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Overall, just eat less gradually and you will lose weight. You will feel hungry at first
when your stomach adjust to the smaller amount. This could make you feel a little deprived but you will get use to that after a while. Also, try drinking more water which helps to make you feel fuller. Do eat meals at the same time everyday because your stomach "feels" hungry when it doesn't get food at the time it expects.

Basically you need to cut down on fatty foods and high sugared foods. Opt instead for fresh fruit and vegetables, try to eat at least 5 portions of fruit and veg a day. Cut down on things such as pies and pastires, cakes, fatty meats, sausages, etc. Go for a chicken salad, vegetable rissotto, or a nice fish dish. It won't be easy - but you'll be so pleased when that weight starts coming off - Good luck

Eating negative calories foods will help you to lose weight.

Several foods contains so little energy that our body will need more energy to digest it through the long process and absorbs the nutrients. So by eating these type of foods, we hope the calories intake vs outtake balance will be negative.

The list of foods are:

Onions and Garlics
Cucumber
Tomato
Cabbage
Celery
Lettuce
Mandarin Oranges
Apricot
Watermelon
Melon

See that those can make a good salad. Or you can eat them individually.
