Lmao... I love the explanations of God knew everything before hand, so he made Adam name every animal and KNEW that Adam would not find a "suitable helper" and would have to make eve.
So that affirms my idea that God is a kid with an ant farm that can't resist shaking the box and poking the ants with a stick... God can be such an ***hole.

"If the first human was male and therefore never had this triggering mechanism" How does the first human being male negate his having the triggering mechanism built into his genes to be passed on for use in his offspring? Didn't God purpose that he would have offspring? Why should it be so strange that all humans (after Adam) start out as female - according to our limited human scientific understanding and classification - when all humans are partly the product of a female? You cannot compare the creation of Adam in adult form with the conception, development and subsequent birth of a human baby.

Creating Eve wasn't a surprise to God. He knew all along that he would create her and that Adam and Eve would have children.

One of the myths that didn't make it into the Bible was the woman who was Adam's first wife Lilith. This is who they meant when they said God created people- "male and female created he them". Tradition said that Lilith didn't want to be submissive to Adam, so she was banished from Eden and became a demon.
Lilith originated in Sumerian mythology.

Because men wrote the Bible - and back in the day, men were reagrded as more important than women (therefore first). Since God was created in their own image and likeness, it follows that God would create man first - in God's own image and likeness.
