I went back to exodus and didn't find anywhere where God told noah to tell the people of the great flood.
My bible says: the Lord observed the extent of the human wickedness on the earth and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. With a broken heart he said he was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth.
skipping down a few verses it says: noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God.
because of Noah's obedience to God, God spared noah and his family.
nowhere does it say noah went out and warned the other people. God already new the people's hearts. because they were evil and hardened, God chose to only spare noah and his family.

I thought Bishop Ussher dated Noah at 2350 BCE or so. Oh well, the tale of the Deluge is copied from the Sumerian one of Utnapishtam in the Epic of Gilgamesh. There are many logical objections to the tale. The Ark could not hold examples of all animals...let alone food for them for a long voyage. There is no evidence geologically of a world flood. There is not enough water to submerge all land. The all-wood Ark would fall apart in the sae. It'd take 35 years to load all the animals. Noah could not build a 450' boat or travel the world to warn all people.

The gospel of the Grace of God has already been preached into all the world. It does not mean that one man went to ever person on earth but when people hear it they told others. Colossians 1: 23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; All people are without excuse. Titus 2: 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Hi,
It is estimated that the Earths population could have been approx. 1 to 2 Billion people at the time of the flood. I'm sure the news of the Ark spread world wide by the time the flood hit, because it took a hundred or more years to build it. Beside they had a chance to enter, but they chose not to, for what ever reason. Sounds like you need a hug!? I'm sorry you are so down on our Creator? God bless you anyway!!!!! Because he still loves you no matter what!

It took 120 years to build the ark.
There were small oceans before the flood, land travel was easier then, people heard by word of mouth what Noah was saying and most people would have come to him at some point, and the rest heard what these people reported.
Why do you think that the ark was only big enough for Noah's family and all the animals?
The door was left open for 1 week waiting for people to enter.
But after that God closed the door.

Rainbows appear because of the mist in the air from the rain creating an optical effect we call the rainbow.. If rain had never occurred before the flood as the Bible states then there wouldn't be a mist in the air to give this optical effect in the sky.. Therefore its fair to say that rainbows never occurred before the flood bearing in mind that rainbows in essence are the product of rain.. @Gat: You seem to not understand what a rainbow is, have you ever seen a waterfall come from the sky?, I'm sure you have not, therefore the optical effect you see from waterfalls are not rainbows hence the name.. Waterfalls do present the same effect but they are not rainbows, rainbows are the effects of rain that falls from clouds, use your brain and don't misconstrue things just to win an argument.. A rainbow is a rainbow not a waterfall-bow, when you have a shower would you refer to it as raining in your shower, if you saw an optical effect in your bathroom from the shower would you call it a rainbow, stop playing the fool to catch the wise..

I totally trust how God does His business. I believe that God talked to everyone, but they just thought they do not have to listen.
God is righteous. I will hear about this stuff when I go to heaven. I want to talk with Noah and all those babies you keep taking about.

I don't think the idea was that Noah visited every single adult and child on the planet, introduced himself, told his life story, told them about God (who might have been unfamiliar to many), told them about the coming flood, told them to repent of their sins, explained the ramifications of God's wrath, etc., etc., etc. When Brittany Spears was pregnant the first time, she "told everybody." But she didn't go door-to-door doing it; a lot of it was word-of-mouth. But I don't think that is really getting to the bottom of your issue.
I think this is what bothers you...that many babies of the world died. If I were an atheist, I would think that was the worst possible thing that could happen. But it is not. We all die. I will die, you will die, your sister, your mother, your father, your children. We are all going to die someday. Although I know that everyone approaches death, I also know that we go on. Even those babies go on.
As we are spiritual beings, it is not WHEN you die that is the tragedy, but WHERE you spend ETERNITY. We all have an eternal spirit. What happens to us in this life is like the blink of an eye compared to that.
James 4:
"13Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." 14Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes."
But our spirit goes on. Many eye-witnesses testified to what they saw Jesus do, His resurrection from the dead, and what he promised to us. John wrote down what he witnessed...
John 20:
24Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!"
But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it."
26A week later his disciples [including John] were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 27Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."
28Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
29Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
30Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

China seems to have been unaffected by the 'Global Flood', as was India, North America and most of the rest of the world.
In fact, it was probably a localized flood in the Black Sea region.
But I imagine you already know that.

God knows everything. He knew that no one else would listen to the warning. Don't most prove that they won't listen to warnings until it's too late? People are being warned of coming judgment now, but most are not listening, although a few are.
