Is it necessary to have a sole wikipedia for the Muslim community? They have opened one http://www.muslimwiki.com

Wow........ Musimwiki.com... and if you look at some of the articles, they are directly taken from the regular Wikipedia entries.
This site is ridiculous, even as a Muslim.

They have wikipedia for lots of things--example:
Orthodox Christian Wiki: http://orthodoxwiki.org/Main_Page
Catholic Wikipedia: http://www.catecheticsonline.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page
You should ask if their needs to be seperate wikis for different ideologies/subjects.
I guess not but there is a Catholic Encyclopedia etc...you can get books on just one thing -why not websites too?

Thanks for letting us know. Visited the site. At the moment, found it to be quite OK as a good amount of work might have been taken from other authoritative sources. It will be interesting to note that how long it will take before 'Islamists' takes this site over, makes it 'pure' by removing any mention of other cultures (particularly the good mentions) and makes this also a vehicle for crying persecution and denouncing others.

weak and scared americans and brits cater to them, hoping and praying that they wont finish thier invasion of america and europe by attempting a take over. but thats not what their here to do. the philosophy is, muslims go to america, marry american women, convert them to islam, have children, raise them in islam, eventually islam will take over. they know they could never take us over militarily, the american people are the largest civilian militia the planet has ever known. go second amendment. anyone care to disagree?
