Yea, Sidestep is ok. I really prefer Kayak.com. And there are a few others like CheapTickets that give non-listed fares (but Kayak searches them too). You might want to try Priceline because they can also offer some unlisted fares. And they have that name your own fare feature where you say what you are willing to pay.

This is a search engine that if you it where and when you want to go it looks at ALL the published fares out there and links you to the cheapest. I find 6 to 10 weeks before I want to go I get the cheapest. If you can use alternate airports you might find a better deal. But, supposedly ALL the airfare is going crazy high this summer.... Good luck!

Right now you can book it for $171rt, tax included, and that's really good. In fact, I wouldn't expect waiting to book to produce much, if any, better fares, and in fact you could see it jump to $300 or more. This fare available for Tu/We/Sa departures in early Sept. on Continental. It's a nonstop flight to Newark, then you switch to train at Newark airport's train station and out to Philly in 1 hour (shorter than connecting to Philly via air, in other words, when you add it all up). The fare includes the Amtrak ticket, which you will earn Continental miles for (I'm not joking!), and can be booked at http://www.continental.com (i used sept 12/ sept 19 )
