The curve of the spine increases! Scoliosis is sideways curvature of the spine, therefore it is important to exercise the muscles. I have finished Pilate's and am now aqua jogging which I find beneficial for my Arthritis and scoliosis. However if you have allowed the muscles to weaken the spine curvature will continue. Then you will damage the discs and then you will really know what pain is! The muscle weakness is not due to the Scoliosis!
