well...a ninja wouldn't compete in the olympics because then his cover would be blown. I have heard some descriptions that ninja training was very intenese and may have included running and jumping while carrying sacks of heavy stones.
Also, I went to a circus from Peking once. It was a bunch of shaolin guys, and they jumped over 15 FEET through littel rotating hoops. It was unbelieveable, but I saw it happen and so did 30 of my family members and the civilains that saw the show over the months it was there.
So it is definitely probable that ninjas coul;d jump that high if shaolin performers can do it.

For god sakes. Wake up! Why do people think ninjas were some sort or super-human individuals that could fly and jump high and do all this stupid nonsense stuff!? Stop basing everything you know from movies and come back to reality. The rest of the world is waiting for you.

Hi there
It all depends on which type of ninja you mean.
1. The ones on TV
or
2. The real ones from Japan!
If its the real ones then there are sections of the santo tonko no kata (12 forms ) and Shinobi gaeshi forms of togakure ryu that have flips. Also the chudan sections of koto ryu contains some leaping methods. There's also the 10 directional leaping kata and shoten no jutsu that are practised
With regards to the height that depends on the individual
Most of what you read is based on myth and legend. Just think if you were one of the daiymo's top guards and were attacked by ninja it would be easier to say that they just disappeared rather than they got away! That way your head remained on your shoulders. lol

In the event that you perform lots of basketball and you intend to dunk like Vince Carter however the genetic does not served you that manual, Vert Shock may help you and https://tr.im/ZGRMk is where you will see this guide.
Adam Folker created Vert Shock. Adam Folker is a former school basketball player now turned qualified basketball player, a 30-year-old athlete who has always been struggling with his jump. He tried numerous methods to improve his vertical but only recently, he had a breakthrough. His accomplishment is the result of the brand new Vert Shock plan that's changed straight jump training and has been creating plenty of hype in the world recently.
The Vert Shock system is perfectly accessible to people at every level of exercise expertise. It doesn't involve any specific equipment or facilities, making it simple to rehearse anywhere.

There are a lot of legends about the ninja. Most of these legends are used to get impressionable people to give their money to fake 'masters'.
Try using history books as your guide rather than books written by people who directly profit if you believe in ninja-magic.
Historical Ninja were very different from movie and cartoon ninjas. For starters, none of them were ever turtles.

Unless Michael Jordan was secretly a Ninja, then I doubt this seriously. The best Olympic high jumpers do not even get close to that height, and all they do is jump.
Added note- I just removed most of my answer just to be polite. But, I think the answers before this one expressed my thoughts quite well on this subject.

I heard a story of a training technique which I can not verify if it is true or not. At a certain age they would grow a type of plant that in time grew over 10 feet tall. They would jump over the plant every dayt as it grew and would eventually be able to achieve very high jumps.
Now, having said that and having practiced certain ways to get a high jump kick you would have to have calves the size of a tree trunk.

Actually, Ninjas can fly, but they don't wanna give away that secret, so they just pretend they can jump ten feet high instead.

Thats super high! Your cat is either super springy or super small to get that high! I only have one cat that jumps on counters and stuff, he can reach about 5 feet. He tried to jump on my bird cage the other day which is probably about 5 1/2 feet and brought the whole thing down with him because it was too high.
