It's a short (and secret) list, but yes I do. It probably defeats the purpose of the whole thing, but I highly doubt the few I do hand out in that case are throwing a wrench in the system.
There are some answers that are so good I wish you could give 2 thumbs up. And I miss being able to give a thumbs-down to bad questions.

I always read the answer before I give a thumbs up or down. Even people I like sometimes say things I don't agree with and I am sure I do the same. :)

Thumbs up only to the people who have poured themselves into providing an answer of real concern, hope and love for those who are asking. A little LOL is necessary for all. If we can't laugh a little in R&S then we need to give it all up and walk away. But, for the most part, people need answers and understanding to make real choices for their lives. I say give them your best and make a difference. Long way of saying I choose the best answers at hand for the posed question. Of course I pay attention to certain people's answers or rather I watch for them. All are read and considered in all fairness to the person asking. Dee-dee-dee!

Yeah there's a handful of people I thumbs up before i even read their responses because i know i'm gunna love their answers. the only problem with that is after i read their answers i usually want to give another thumbs up but i can't. I haven't read any of my regular favorites and thought "Crap! i can't believe i gave that a thumbs up!" As for everyone else..... I read their answers first and if they're witty, insightful, humorous, intelligent.. i give a thumbs up... but if they're arrogant, ignorant, self-righteous, or filled with robotic & repetitive scriptures then i thumbs down them.

i give thumbs up to anyone that is on my contact list, (i scroll through the questions and just give them a thumb up..regaurdless of what they say, cause usually i would have put the same thing or close to what they had already said down)
i give thumbs down to those that repeat their answers, like those that put down a bunch of "if only you had excepted christ as your lord and savior three seconds before you asked this stupid question, i wouldn't have to sit here and spew my holier than though repentance sermon at you, praise god now i'm off to copy and paste this to another question, thanks for the two points idiot."
those people that are blessed with my thumbs down, had better be thankful that i have a short attention span and can't handle the time it takes to report them.

No because I have to read the answer first. If I like them and disagree with the answer then I will refrain form thumbing...I am a hard case...

I don't give anyone regular thumbs up. I do give Christians many thumbs mainly because I agree with their answers. But, I also give thumbs up to others if their answers are intelligent, funny without being disrespectful, or I agree with them.
I will say that Reportbot gets a lot of thumbs up from me because that dude just cracks me up all the time.
