Six "Islamic radicals" involved in a plot to kill U.S. soldiers at Fort Dix in New Jersey were arrested Monday night, the U.S. Attorney's Office in New Jersey said Tuesday.
One of the suspects was born in Jordan, another in Turkey, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. The rest are believed to be Yugoslavian, "either U.S. citizens or living illegally in the United States," the office said in a statement.
"Their alleged intention was to conduct an armed assault on the army base and to kill as many soldiers as possible," according to the statement.
The six are expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Camden on Tuesday afternoon, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a statement.

Peaceful my rear end. The so called peaceful ones are cowards that refuse to stand unite and help kill the terrorist muslims. The refusal of the muslim world to take a stand against their brothers only shows the rest of the world they are all united in one cause to kill innocent people. Peaceful, funny.

Im Catholic and my religion did some fuc@d up things in the past as well "in the name of God" of course... Every religion has got some stain on them. Lets look at the crusades in particular....in that period of time the europeans civilization was pretty jacked up, hence the dark ages. No economy and no hope. So average joe spent his life over the bible and studying every word and taking every thing a religious leader would say quite litteraly. So what did they do? They attacked the hell out of Jerusalem trying to convert or kill everyone. Now...lets go ahead a couple hundred years and you got the same senario the more evolved civilized west and the no economy and no hope for the average citizen of the middle east...who is doing the same thing the europeans did hundreds of years ago. History repeats itself the only difference is this time we are the more civilized and they are the religious zealots.

Your right it is only peaceful if you happen to be a Muslim, if not then you either live in a state of Dhimmitude (2nd class citizen) or convert. There is a term called Taqquiya in the Koran which basically means to take an infidel as a freind only to use to your advantage. People are quick to screech bigot without realising the biggest bigots on earth are Muslims, ie: killl homosexuals, convert by the sword any non believer, have as many wives as you wish of any age and beat them at your will.

I would have to say that the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful and friendly. My experience with them in the Middle East was generally very positive.
However, there are always a few bad apples in the bunch, and they, unfortunately, are the "squeaky wheel" that everybody notices.
What gets under my skin is how few of these peaceful Muslims are saying anything to counter the radical agenda. If more of the mainstream Imams would preach against the violence, and condemn the violent behavior, it might start to squelch the radicals.

After the interview on 60 Minutes with a former terrorist ( he wanted to kill all the infidels too) I am convinced that the teachings of Muhammed are violent and make people who believe in him dangerous. If the Muslims are supposed to be a peaceful group someone should tell them since I see no evidence of it!

Islam is actually a religion of peace. It has been hijacked by hate-spewing radicals & bigoted imams.
Up until the middle of the 20'th century, it was the Bible-carrying white man who terrorized natives across the world & colonized most of it, threatening many cultures(excuse me, where have all the American Indians gone, it's their land, ain't it ?). From Asia to America.
I'm sure many people felt the same way as you've expressed your idiocy in the last statement of your question.

In the first place, how comes you have styled thesix arsonists as "Islamic radicals"?How could thecriminal conspiracy of a few individuals be connected with their religion?
The question to be asked is :"What has this got to do with Islam in any way?"
Secondly: "Does Islam allow its followers to plot to conduct an armed assault on the army base and kill as many sol
diers as possible"?
Islam is a "pacifist" religion :-
i) Let there be no compulsion inreligion>(Holy Quran 2:256)
ii)"neither kill nor destroy yourselves"(4:29),"Suicide" and "Homicide: ar taboo in Islam.
iii)"if anyone slew aperson,it would be as if he slew the whole people;and if anyone saved a life,it would be as if he slew the whole people".(5:32)
iv) "To the heir of the wrongfully slain person authority is given by God to demand retribution or blood money or forgiveness".(17:33)
v)God has made the "Muslims : a justly balanced or middle-ordered society".(2:143) That means, on no occasion any muslim could dip to the level of a"reactionary" or rise to be a
"radical" or "terrorist".Thus, terrorism and Islam are antipoles.
as a corrollary, "Islamic terrorism" is the most reprehensible OXYMORON the west has forged against Islam.
Compare the above words of Muslims' God with those of Jesus in Mathew 10: 34&35 and Luke 12 :49 - 61, and draw your own conclusion which is more pacific?
