yep. the more you trim your nails the faster they grow right? and the more us gurls shave our legs the faster the hair grows back...i wonder about mother nature sometimes...

Nope. Your hair & your nails grow as fast as they grow depending on your overall health, what you eat, how much water you drink, etc.

It's popular but untrue to believe that if your trim your hair regularly it grows faster. What actually happens is that if you keep the split end off, the split doesn't travel up the shaft & then break off making your hair look uneven & shorter.

Shaving doesn't make your hair grow any faster or cause you to have more hair. See the first paragraph. And, when you are born, you have a certain number of hair folicles. Period.

No - their nails grow at a pace determined by their genes and their health. Trimming them won't make them grow any faster or slower. Trimming will take off the sharp tips so they won't catch on things, though.

Nope. People just think this because claws SEEM to grow back quicker when you trim them - same with hair, and our nails. If you just leave them they hardly seem to grow at all, which is why people bring us their animals with long curly nails - they just haven't noticed.

If hair grew back quicker the more often it was cut, my Dad says he'd be shaving his head every day!
