PEOPLE!!!!The idea of "growing religions" is merely a term to describe which religious followers produce the MOST BABIES. Of course the Muslim religion is "growing" because they are allowed to have X number of wives and 66 children.

Religions are dying because for the most part humanities beliefs have surpassed the teachings of most religions. For instance Leviticus tells of killing your children if they curse you... well we are passed that point in society. As man kinds beliefs of right and wrong progress the teachings of religions which are set in stone become obsolete. As people accept expanded moral guidelines the old moral guidelines of religion become less relevant.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints added about 290,000 members last year. It is growing at a rate greater than any other church in the world. So not all religions are doing this.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, so believing in Christ will never die- His Word endures forever. What is truly of the Lord will not fade away- hallelujah!!

It doesn't seem to me like they're dying.

They're probably growing because of the weird weather/climate changes in places and all the storms. the fanatics think it's the coming of the end of the world or judgement day.... so they want to get all their "sins" out of the way so they can die & go to their happy place.

We are? All this time I thought the immense church growth we have witnessed over the last 20 years, and the number of committments to Christ expanding meant we were doing well. But, those are the facts after all, and you don't seem to pay much attention to them.

I believe it's b/c people are going for the things this world has to offer and not seeing that Jesus is the only way to get to Heaven.

Why do you qualify all your Qs with the disclaimer that you're an ex-muslim? Shouldn't you pronounce yourself a newly enlightened ateheist (if that is indeed what you are)?

It just seems that way, most are updating their antiquated systems of control for newer more acceptable forms of control.

I don't think Christianity will die, but in case if it dies than god will be sad. but the other religions are dieing because they are not based on true and real values. I guess Allah is having bad days, and he is sad. (lol)
