anything with complex carbohydrates like (non-sugary) cereal, brown bread, brown pasta, brown rice. also, fish is supposed to be brain food. keep hydrated too with lots of water! caffeine & sugar will give you dramatic, but short energy boosts followed by an energy crash- avoid these foods.

anything that is high in omega 3, (oily fish). If your not a fishy person try the omega 3 supplements. Their great, i have used them on all my kids to help them at school and i have noticed the difference in them since they have been using the supplements

Fish and seafood are best.
Eggs are good too ,
Green tea is not a food, but it works.
That's the only ones I'm sure of.

Fish and fresh fruit are supposed to help.
Avoid heavy foods (pasta, steak, etc.) as they take more energy for your body to process.

One of my college professors told me to eat tuna fish while I was studying, said that it would help me retain information. I don't know why though. Fortunately tuna is affordable for college kids!!
