Both were sons of God and created by God the Father. The first was from the dust of the earth, the second out of heaven.
The Creation of Adam is found in Gen:2:7.
The birth of Christ is recorded in Matthew 1:25; Luke:1: 26-35; 2:6-14.
1Cor.15:45: "The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life giving spirit."
1Cor.15:47: "The first man is out of the earth and made of dust, the second man is out of heaven."
1Cor. 15:21: "Since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a man. For just as in Adam all are dying so also in Christ all will be made alive."

Both Jesus and Adam were created directly by God so Jehovah God was their father.
Jesus existed in heaven spiritually before he came to the earth as the Messiah in the flesh and returning back to the heavens after he completed his God given mission and was resurrected back to life.
Jesus was in fact the firstborn of all creation before God created anything else (Colosians 1:15) even before the universe.
Jesus became like Jehovah in that he emulated him perfectly and in union with Jehovah God. Jesus' wisdom does not come from his own originality but from his Father's who created him.
John 14:9,10
He that has seen me has seen the Father [also]. How is it you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in union with the Father and the Father is in union with me? The things I say to YOU men I do not speak of my own originality; but the Father who remains in union with me is doing his works.
So Jesus proving to be a creation then his maker makes him a father and Jesus is therefore the Son of God as he was the first of all creation. Likewise Adam was also created directly first hand by God but instead of in a spiritual body he was made in a fleshly body and was a son of God.

I don't buy into the strict interpretation of the Bible regarding Adam. But Jesus, I believe he existed and appeared with the mission of messiahship, I just don't believe he's God.

Adam was the first creation....who's Father was God
Jesus was born in the flesh...but perfect. His seed was placed in the womb by God the Holy Spirit...thus making Him perfect.
Christ was indeed God incarnate. He had to be flesh in order to carry out the atoning sacrifice for us.....and He had to be Deity in order to live a perfect, sinless life
