I feel like God hates me. I've been so jinxed lately...especially with technology. In one day, my cell broke, my computer got a virus and stopped working, my U-Card to get in the campus buildings got a mysterious scratch and now doesn't work when it's swiped...

I then actually wrote a letter to God and burned it so that he can recieve it. It sounds stupid but it seemed like a good idea at the time. And then I went home, and when I turned on the light switch, the lights flashed really bright then went out.

Don't tell me those aren't signs.

I don't know what to do anymore.

I feel like I'm living a nightmare. Everything is going downhill and I just want God by me but it seems like He also has given up on me.

I feel like I've completely ruined my life and there's no fixing it. Like I've somehow managed to dissappoint everything that has crossed my path. And what hurts the most is that I know God is more than dissappointed in me too.

It sounds like you've been going through a really rough time in your life. Don't worry too much, we've all been there. It's part of being alive. Things get bad for a while and it seems like everything's wrong. But just wait and see, things will get better. No one's life ever stays completely bad.

As for you feeling that God hates you...I can understand how you'd feel that way. But it simply isn't true. Technology breaks down all the time--it's not perfect and a lot of times, things are made to break so that you'll have pay money to replace them. I doubt that God was looking around one day and said, "I'm bored. I think I'm going to seriously mess with idance!'s cell phone, computer, and U-card. What's this? How DARE she write me a letter! I'm going to mess around with her electricity now." I think God's a lot better than to act like that! :)

Writing God a letter and then burning it was a good idea. Since God is omnipotent, he would be able to hear your thoughts, but sometimes it's nice to actually see our own words and get the feeling that we are handing them over to God. I used to do that all the time.

My mother has a favorite saying: "As above, so below. As within, so without." It means that if you are at peace within, then good things will happen to you and bad things won't seem so bad. What could you have possibly done to "ruin" your life? You sound like you're on the right track to me. I looked at your profile...you're a pysch major in college and you love helping people! I've known people who have ruined their lives, believe me, and you don't fit the description. But, assuming you have ruined your life, then you can fix it. There is no damage that cannot be repaired.

I hope you feel better very soon. A good-hearted person like you shouldn't have to feel bad for any great length of time. :)

I have experienced the same thing in my life. You may find this hard to believe, but God is blessing you! Here's how:

He is giving you some difficulties to give you a warning light that you are making choices that will rob you of happiness. Part of accepting Him into your life is accepting the fact that He will want to change some things about you to help you to grow and become a better person. These suggestions may help --

1. Sincerely thank Him for the difficulties that you are experiencing. Thank Him in advance for the blessings that will come from Him while He works in your life for your good.

2. Ask Him to help you get out of the place that you have put yourself. There is NOTHING that is too hard for God to fix.

3. Keep your sense of humor...God has a delightful sense of humor, and will help you to see the humor in your situation.

4. Don't complain! It is the perfect way to block any help that comes from God. Remember this, that there is no difficulty so bad that it can't be made worse by whining.

5. Read your Scriptures! Every day! You will find amazing answers, sometimes in places that you have read before.

There has to be more going on than a burnt out light bulb and a computer with a virus to make you say the things you are. Because the things you just listed are normal things we all deal with and it does seem that when it rains it pours.

I can assure you that God does not hate you. God is Love. You don't have to write a letter to God, you can simply talk to Him like a dear friend. I am going to ask that your strength will be renewed.

Forgiving ourselves is hard. . .there have been things in my life that I have had a hard time letting go of, but forgiveness is easy for God. Through the blood of Jesus we are forgiven and our sins are cast into a sea of forget fullness. If you have asked for forgiveness you are forgiven, it is up to you to leave your sins at the cross or to carry them around with you. . let it go.

I see your problem. Read what you wrote and look at all the negatives you spoke over your life. Start thinking positive and no matter what goes wrong in life, don't look at is as a potential loss... instead look at is as one more challenge that you will overcome. Think of it this way, when you deal with the problems head on and find a solution, you will gain life experience.

God doesn't hate you, or isn't out to get you. He gave you the free will do make it what you want. It doesn't mean bad things don't happen to good people, but some people grow stronger from those events.

Life is really what you make it and the way that you choose to view it is what will make the difference whether it is a great life or one of constant misery.

If there is anything that you have done that is sin of course ask Him to forgive you, because He is faithful and He will through His Son Jesus. However, let me say this, things that are happening to you are not signs that God is disappointed in you, or does not love you. My husband and I have suffered with health problems for many years and we could say, as some people have, "what sin is keeping us sick". Like the blind man in the bible, Jesus healed him and said- "this is not because of sin, but that God could be glorified". Unfortunately "stuff" happens in this life, and technology does break down, you just have had an overabundance of it. You need to believe that God has forgiven whatever sin you have committed and that He can help you forgive yourself. God never said, you would not have problems. So hang in there, my friend- God is not finished with you yet. We are all in the process of being formed into His image.

No God is not disappointed with you. God loves us when we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). So our sins and bad patches life would not prevent God from loving us. In fact as Christians God forgive us only because Jesus died on the cross to obtain for us eternal forgiveness (Heb 10:12). More than that God has given us the abundance of grace and the gift of His righteousness to reign in life ie to live victoriously (Romans 5:17). Do not let all the bad happenings put you down. Know for sure God forgives and loves you always and forever and at all times you are righteous in Christ Jesus as you have been washed by His blood. So arise and walk with confidence that God is with you all the time as He will never leave you or forsake you. God has lifted you up to be His child. Do not put yourself down child of God. His love, joy and peace be with you. Amen!

You can receive forgiveness! Lay your sins at Christ's feet. He died for you, so you can be forgiven. Here are the steps...

1. Stop doing what you want to be forgiven of.
2. Ask God to let you feel his love and be forgiven through his Son Jesus Christ.
3. Find something good to replace the sin... like exercise.
4. Know that it might not happen over night, but have faith that you will be forgiven as you truly change.
5. Confessing your sin to God is necessary, most of the time it's not necessary to confess to a person, but it can help.

I know you can be forgiven! Trust in the Savior! None of us are perfect especially me.

Have a great day! :) hope that helps...

Well you probably need to take the focus off of yourself and put it on to God. Pray and believe with all your heart that he will answer and turn things around for you. Then you have to walk in faith everyday that he will until he delivers you from it.
Read the book of Job, he went through some pretty awful testing and kept his faith, prayed all the time and God answered him. Just keep walking on believing that God will answer your prayers. He will.... in his perfect timing.
I will pray for you also.

Take a little break and watch Bruce Almighty tonight! It'll make you laugh and give you a little something to relate to.
We've all been there.... God bless you.

God doesn't hate anyone. He loves us all. He will allow trials in our lives, but only to strengthen us.

If anyone hates you, its Satan. He wants you to think its God. He want you in Hell.

If you feel that God is disappointed, then don't worry about your cell, your computer, or your card. If you're a Christian, just have faith that things will work out. If you're not, consider devoting yourself to God through Jesus Christ.

Remember, the Bible says that "God is love". He will forgive you for anything if your faith is true.

One day, if you live for The Loving God, you'll have no more sorrow or disappointment.

Trust in that!

You don't have to be able to forgive yourself. If you know God forgives you upon asking His forgiveness, then that is all you need. Things do happen for a reason, so maybe it is a sign that you aren't on the right path. Pray for wisdom and God will give it to you. God never gives up on us and he DOES love you.
