Picture this, God is the greatest unknown Cause known to man. Everything in the Universe and now Multiverse has a cause however, with the limited knowledge, we are unable to comprehend these causes. This doesn't mean we will never be able to understand these unknown causes, it only mean we have not developed the required tools to bring about the understanding these causes. String Theory goes much deeper in the explanation of the creation of the Universe then ever before and provide a greater understanding of the mystery of God.

You must first answer; Who made Matter?
The answer you hear is God has always been. If, you find this hard to understand, then where did anything come from? Matter, Interstellar Gases, etc, how did it get here? It could not have always been.

Nothing made God, we're human, we're too small, we don't have much of knowledge, we have too many questions that cannot answer, especially questions about God.
I wonder if God up there (in Heaven) looks at us and said:
"Ha! Human, you can't beat me, I'm powerful than you"
