yawing occurs when the body is in transition from a state of inactivity to being active or vice versa.

You yawn due to oxygen depletion. It's good that your trying to breathe deeply during resistance training, but it's your cadiovascular system that's the problem.

Your body hasn't developed the ability to transport the additional oxygen need when you work out. Your heart needs to get stronger.

Work on your cardio. Run for 20min or so before weights. Also, try to keep your heart rate up between sets. Super set (work different muscle groups at intervals so you don't just stand still) and don't rest for more than 1 minute. If you get cold, you're resting too long, the heart slows and the oxygen supply slows, hence yawning.

Yawning is the body's way of getting more oxygen to your body. When you yawn your body is lacking some oxygen usually to the brain but you yawn to obtain more. Look on WebMD to see more about it.

yawning happens when you have shortness of breath. It should go away after a few weeks. It is just your body telling you that you need more air. It used to happen to me too.
