Last night my fiance and I were making love and our 2 1/2 year old son was in bed already for about an hour. So we figured good hes asleep. Well right in the middle of it my fiance looks over and to his horror there is our son watching in the doorway!!!!!! We didnt know whether to laugh or scream. So we got dressed very fast and giggled for awhile and put him back to bed after telling him that mommy and daddy were playing. Well now my fiance thinks the kid is ruined for life. I keep telling him that our child is going to be fine and wont remember it. Even though he has an excellent memory. I still keep laughing inside everytime I think about it. If you have a story, please share.

A 2 1/2 year old wouldn't have the slightest idea what you were doing. It may come back to mind when he's older and he learns about it but if you don't make a big deal out of it he may never recall the incident.
I think it affected your fiance more than it affected you or your son. Lets hope your fiance is not ruined for life.

I think most every parent has a story like this to share. It just happens. As long as mom and dad don't dwell on it or or make a big deal then it will pass. At 2 1/2 he won't remember it.

your child might remember this . the reaction and things you said are the most important to his remembering or forgetting .
i would not worry about this . i would not talk about this with your son and i would not talk about this if there is even the slightest chance your son could hear you meaning if he is even in the house.
if you do this it is more likely he wont remember.
i suggest you put a bell or something on your door knob so you will know if he has come in your room .
the bell or whatever is a good idea as well as it is a kind of burglar alarm too

Sorry I dont have a story to share, but you are right your child will forget the whole thing has happened. In the meantime, be prepared to answer a few questions about why daddy was on top of you? lol

I am quite the verbal sexual partner. My son was 4 when he came into my room, and caught me having sex. He was crying and he thought that mommy was being hurt, and I thought I was going to DIE!!!! We got ourselves together and I took him back to bed, and told him that mommy was getting a "big hug" from my then boyfriend, and that he wasn't hurting mommy. I thought too that he would be traumatized for life--however, he isn't. He is 11 now, and when he was 5 he was diagnosed as Autistic, and it STILL hasn't traumatized him!! Once a few months back, he said "you woke me up going uh uh uh (like on "Rain Man")-----AGAIN I thought I would die, however it was HYSTERICAL--I called and told my mom and dad--and they thought it was funny too. Just make sure that your children understand that it is a mommy and daddy thing and that it is ok, when they are old enough to understand then explain what is going on!!!

LOL i'm 13 years old and it hasnt happened to me (obviously)
however i do remember walking in on my parents when i was about 8 or 9. the next thing i knew i was getting "the talk" it practically went in one ear and out the other. dont worry about it, unless your kid has a very big mouth it should all be ok. he'll forget about it as long as you dont make to bigger fuss over it

The SAME happened to me & an EX girl friend.
The kid was 5. I put a latch hook on the door. We told him
to knock on the door, next time if the door was closed.
