Here is what I am talking about: http://www.alaska.net/~clund/e_djublonskopf/Flatearthsociety.htm
That is NOT satire, they are very serious.

I see EXACTLY the same type of arguments here. They use evidence that on the surface sounds reasonable and scientific to claim that the Bible was right about the Earth being flat. But with just a small amount of examination you can see how absurd it really is. Just wondering what you guys think.

I've been in a 747 over the Caribbean Sea. You can see the world rounding off some. The Earth is round just like the heavens.

Wow. I am completely stunned that there is actually a "society" that believe that the earth is flat!!!

And years from now, I'm sure people will be saying the same thing about people that believe in creationism.

The Bible says "the circle of the earth." Where do they get the flat part? Isaiah 40:22 "circle"

I definitely do not support evolution.

That web page is a joke. It isn't real.

Look at the disclaimer:

"...Nor is the Flat Earth Society responsible for the recent yeti sightings outside the Vatican..."

Isaiah 40:22

It is he that sitteth upon the CIRCLE of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

don't see "flat" anywhere

The Bible didn't claim the Earth to be flat. ever. It did however, speak of how it was "suspended" in air and round as well.

Well, evolutionism is an empirically tested and universally accepted (by those with scientific reason, anyway) theory while Flat Earth theory is a bunch of people with their eyes shut and their fingers in their ears going LALALALALA... so no.
