She mostly has jars which makes me despair, but as I'm not there every evening to feed her I don't have much choice! She gets 'home-cooked' food at creche and when I'm at home, Thurs-Sun, I give her pasta with pesto, peas, bagels with cream cheese, cheese on toast, smoked salmon, cheerios, petit filoux, fruit purees...
So, I'm looking for more easy to fix foods that I can give her and encourage my partner to give her!!

My son is addicted to hummus! I will put it in a sandwich with wheat bread and cut it up in to manageable pieces, or he can dip it with pita triangles or crudite. It's got fiber, protein and very healthy!
Also, we cut up avocado and let him pick up the pieces, which he loves!
A quick easy meal is whole wheat pancakes with applesauce to dip in (or any fruit puree)

Our 15-month-old loves cucumber, bread, grapes and raisins - basically anything she can pick up herself.
Yesterday I bought her a toddler-sized metal cutlery set from Boots, she had great fun spearing some of those new soya beans from Birds Eye with the fork. She ate loads.
I made some spicy mince with rice for myself the other day. I didn't make it as spicy as I normally would and gave her a portion - she loved it.

Cous-cous, raisons, noodles, fish fingers(chopped up small)!
Try looking on any NHS or Food Agency websites-they may have age related food guides and details on daily allowances etc.

How about chopped up fruit or crudities with a dip? Grapes might be a good one. How about cooked and cooled down fish fingers - easy to hold and eat - buy 100% fish ones.
