For a colonoscopy, what is the diff beween removal of polyp & removal of node? Doc said everything looked ok?

Many people get polyps of the bowel and as long as they are 'benign' there is no problem. However as to why the Doc removed a node, I do not know.

A polyp is a mucosal growth within the bowl.
A node is a Lymph node that is usually excised from the draining lymphatics of that area for biopsy purpose.
