HLA B27 is a blood test that many healthy people test positive for. However it does NOT mean you have Ankylosing spondilysis. With all these tests you need to have 'symptoms' and the positive test before the Doc starts another barrage of tests. Then you might get a diagnosis in say five years.

HLAB27 is the test which is positive in ankylosing spondylitis, but not 100% accurate. there can be false positive in some patients.
