According to the Holy Bible, in the 1st century, God came to Earth in the form of a mortal man (the Son) to not only fulfill a prophecy, but also to offer His own precious blood as a means to atone for our inevadable transgressions.
According to this covenant: our ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of, and FAITH in God's sacrifice, along with our effort to obey His laws and walk in His footsteps is a means to avoid eternal separation from the kingdom of God after death.
600 years later, a man comes along claiming to be a prophet of the same God who previously granted a path to forgiveness without adhering PERFECTLY to the ancient laws given by previous messengers. The man says God would NOT do such a thing, and also that the Son (Jesus) never even died.
This nullifies God's New Covenant completely, and reduces Jesus to nothing more than another messenger. Once again, strict adherence to ancient laws (and new ones) became the way to salvation.
Why would God reneg on such a wonderful promise?

Before you say "God never made that promise", please try to remember that the question is "why WOULD God reneg?"
Try to come up with a reason why, not just one of the lazy generic cookie-cutter cop-outs used to avoid rational thought.
God bless

God didn't. The man who came along 600 years later was a false prophet who founded a false religion.

First of all the there are two deaths when talking about the bible. One is mortal death (of the body) and second spiritual death (separation from God ). Jesus died and suffered a mortal death on the cross but never was really dead to his Father. This is why the atonement is in 2 parts- on the cross (for the universal resurrection )and in gethsmany where he suffered for the the sins of those who would repent (to overcome separation from God ) for those who follow him. Nowhere in the scriptures does it say you will be able to get back to him without the necessary ordinances and repenting of wrongdoings.
Jesus Christ is still alive so wheres the argument - he was a teacher and a prophet and a messenger etc etc.
The new covenant is in full force only after baptism by authority and you accepting him a saviour and also accepting his prophets! (and by the way there is a prophet on earth). And of course there are more scriptures etc etc if you are willing to accept sound doctrine

"Why do Jews reject the salvation provided with the aid of Jesus Christ while His presence is all around them?" Is it extremely? 'reason I specific do not see it. seems to me you're seeing what you want to work out. "needless to say, Jews have a powerful suspicion that Christianity and the attractiveness of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is the only genuine course to salvation, and a few do act on those suspicions, and settle for Him." i'm attempting to not snigger at that. Do you have any outward indicators and indicators to assist your declare, or are you as quickly as returned projecting onto an ancestral religious group? "besides the undeniable fact that, maximum Jews do not take this step, even with being surrounded by ability of info, such via fact the fulfilled prophecies interior the previous testomony." Are you thinking of the prophesy that the Messiah may be named Immanuel (not Jesus), and be an instantaneous blood descendant of King David (which won't be in a position to be if Jesus became into an immaculate theory)?

LOL...
You're trying to make sense of things which made no sense in the first place.
The main character, god - the same god you are in such a dilemma over - has no credence at all and anyone can put words into his mouth. God isn't the script writer for these tall tales... anyone can script them to their own liking.
If you're having trouble swallowing the invented version of god and "his" desires as written by mohammad, (according to what mohammad desired for himself,) then make-up your own little god-tale. You have just as much right to put words into god's mouth as all of those who came before you. (Recall that the list is pretty long and it dates to as recently as the early 1800s when Smith decided to take his turn at being a prophet.)
There's nothing stopping you....
Oh.!?.... Is this the reason you're asking this question? Are you looking for ideas to resolve the issue and try to fit the whole story into it's next logical chapters..? Gosh, that's a good idea.... Good luck. The whole business needs a solid and happy ending ...a termination... a dead end ...an end of story ...a halt. Hurry and get it written, will you please. Then we can all be satisfied that the fantasy saga "god tales" are finally concluded and we can all get on with the business of reality, undistracted and undivided by this nonsense.

The only evidence in scripture of God changing His Plan is through fervent prayer.
The "catch" in your theory is that a "MAN comes along 'CLAIMING' to be a prophet". Anyone can claim to be a prophet and anyone claim God said anything they want to - that does not make it true.
God did NOT reneg on His Wonderful Promise through Christ Jesus. Anyone claiming He did is not acting on behalf of The Lord God Almighty. They are acting in purient interests. Serving only their benefit and not the benefit of man.

Jesus said there would be false prophets. I believe this is one of the false prophets you are describing. Careful study of the bible shows Jesus to be the Son of God fulfilled in both the Old and New Testaments.

God wouldn't withdraw his promise. The man who came later did not understand the promise. It is obvious by the way the true faith is misrepresented in the writings of the so-called prophet.

Is it striking though the similarities between Islam and Christianity both so want to be the final covenant and both argue it is their way or eternal torment. Yet both ignore the first covenant, the only one with more then one witness to the divine.

First of all GOD can do all things. Yes GOD could have planted HIMSELF into Mary's womb, but HE sent an angel to do so. This helps me understand that GOD sent HIS angel to place HIS Son Jesus into Mary.
GOD can not be tempted, but Jesus could have been. GOD does not fear, but Jesus did when He asked GOD to "Remove this cup from Me". and "Let this cup pass Me by". Then He humbled Himself and said, "Thy will be done".
Abraham loved and trusted GOD and was willing to show GOD how much he was willing to sacrifice his only begotten (promised) son Isaac. This helps me to KNOW GOD did send HIS only begotten (promised) Son Jesus.
GOD would not ask a man to do something HE HIMSELF would not do. HE DID IT.

Try the final testament- the final covenant
See: http://one-heaven.org
Now to many, such an idea is abhorrant. For while they claim to worship God, they have no real desire to hear or acknowledge any divine message.
To others who are skeptical of such a message, even though they are shown http://ucadia.org and a complete standard model of the universe, they refuse to read.
And for all those that want to attack Islam, see http://one-islam.org which aligns Islam to One Heaven.
And for all those who want to attack Hindu or other beliefs, see http://one-spirit-tribe.org which aligns Hinu and Buddhist beliefs.
So it is that God works to Gods timetable and not humanity. For even those of humanity who claim to follow the word of God have trouble distinguishing true wisdom from spin.
