Now as a good looking UK guy just in my 40s there are some things I want to do before its too late. Top of the list is to have an affair. You often hear people have short-term affairs outside of marriage, but what is the best way to go about it?

Well, life's a ***** aint it .... do you love your wife? Dont have an affair!
You dont love your wife anymore? Get a divorce.
You dont know what you want - I'd say go for it and find out.

The only things that can happen is that you will have to live with the following consequenses:

*your wife finds out and will not divorce you but never trust you again and will always hold it against you
*your wife finds out and wants a divorce which saves you from breaking it up and you are a free man but have to live with the plagues of a divorce and an ex wife that will hate you and make your life a misery
*your wife never finds out but you chose a bunny boiler that might run around making your life a living hell threatening to tell your wife
*your wife never finds out and the affair ends but your guilty concience will drive you mad and you wont be happy in the marriage that you enjoyed before the 'midlife crisis'

+ various other options

can't say I never thought about having an affair but thinking about the consequences is pretty scary, still tempting - do whatever you think you can live with but also try to consider the people involved!!!! As it is not going to be an easy game.

There is no good way to go about having an affair because first and foremost it is wrong, it's cheating and you will hurt your family. By your age you should have had your share of women to not have the need to find anyone else once you got married.

Find other goals in life that have more meaning and be more productive for others. Take a course on "committment and love" for your family.

Jebus man... If you want to have an affair, while I think it's stupid, against one of the 10 commandments, can cause a marriage to fall apart, blah blah blah. But if you do want to have an affair, why in the world would you post it online where your significant other could easilly see it? It isn't difficult to see that posting it so openly online where your significant other could see this and do something about it, like divorcing you or watching you more closely so that you never get a chance to be unfaithful.

The best way to do it is to GET A DIVORCE!!!!! Shame on you for WANTING to cheat on your wife!!!! If you are looking for a "different" sexual experience, why not include your wife, because maybe she wants one too--especially since it is quite evident that you are a jerk!!! Have you thought how much this is going to hurt your wife?? Why would you want to do that?? If you don't care whether you hurt her or not--why don't you just divorce her and let her find someone who is worthy of her love!!???? SHAME ON YOU!!!!

There is no best way. Be faithful to your wife. Marriage is a sacred institution and should not be taken lightly. Consider your wife's feelings and how this would change her life and yours forever. Be committed to your wife and your marriage vows.

do u love ur wife? then dont do it. but if u really feel the need to do it, then i would tell ur wife that ur going to a meeting and instead go to a club. pick up a girl and see where it goes from there. and all goes well, ur could have "meetings" once maybe twice a week. good luck
