I am dating this guy he is upfront with everything except when it comes to showing affection. The only time he would kiss me on his own is when he is leaving my house. Other than that he considers spanking me on my butt a sign of affection, but it is not to me. I have to be the aggresser when I want to kiss and cuddle. Then again he might be those guys that dont know how to show affection. I dont know. I do know that I am way more affectionate than he is. So, tell me have you ever went thru this in your relationship(s)?

Some people are just not showy with their feelings. Guys are taught to not show as much emotion, so we don't

You can't consider this a 'problem.' It's the guy's personality to not be showy with affection. Perhaps he grew up in a household that didn't show affect and his family was never touchy-feely. Maybe he hasn't gone out with you long enough to be really comfortable with being close to you. Maybe he got burned in a past relationship and is taking his time developing feelings.

The problem here? You're asking us and not talking to him. You should be upfront and honest and tell him that you really want him to do this and that for you. That it makes you feel good and you like to see him do these things. He may not automatically think about kissing and cuddling all the time.

Talk to him, not us.

Good luck

properly I quite do not imagine you owe her some thing at this aspect, in view that she cheated on you and also you gave her yet another probability, you gave her what you should. She no longer in hassle-free words had a sexual affair, yet an emotional one at that. An emotional affair is the hardest project to get well from. emotions were in contact and emotions won't be able to easily be honestly forgotten. If it really is been a three hundred and sixty 5 days and a 1/2 and also you nevertheless experience like you would no longer opt to be with her, then it really is probable time to end it. you've had almost 2 years to re-light your relationship and if she hasn't tried up till those days then it really is probable no longer properly worth attempting anymore. this implies she nevertheless had emotions for the different guy in the starting up of once you tried operating it out. who's to say that you get deployed back and she or he will be in a position to no longer pass fall in love with yet another 'Jodie'? merely because she had a foul kids would not supply her the right to cheat on you or pass and make a connection with some different person of an similar heritage. you're available risking your existence for human beings like her and it really is how she repays you??? As a defense force spouse, i ought to under no circumstances EVER do some thing like that to my husband, EVER!

When you're dating someone and you don't like the way they are the best thing to do is stop dating them and date someone else. Expecting someone to change who they are for you is a slippery slope that goes only to bad places. There are too many people in the world to waste time with someone you don't like.

If you want someone to show more affection then find that someone who wants to.

I was with a woman who was not real affectionate. It is a bummer if you are a "toucher" and affectionate with someone who is closed off.

This will eventually be a deal breaker, and unless there is a willingness to "meet in the middle" I would move on.

Tell him what you want, and ask him if you need to teach him how to do it. I did go through this, and that is exactly how I handled the situation. He became very affectionate after a lot of practice.

You need to talk to him! He really is the only one that can help you with this. If you guys are open he shouldn't have a problem. If it is a fairly new relationship he could be just scared or was hurt previously and doesn't want a repeat. Talk to him! If he cares he will talk to you about it.

Well, for me I haven't experience that kind of date, coz everytime when he ask me for a date, I think I'm the opposite coz It's hard for me to show my affection. Maybe I brought up in a conservative family & I'm not comfortable if I don't him totally....that's it!

I had this problem and it ended up causing us to break up. You need to be honest with him, and very upfront if you don't discuss it now, it will probably cause major problems later.
