I ended a relationship with a guy about a year ago for several reasons. Since then I've changed my number and I have not been in contact with him because I believe that when a relationship is over that should end as well. However, we still attend the same church and lately he's been approaching me after service and attempting to "get me back." I have remained cordial (saying hello only when spoken to-and moving on) and repeatedly told him that he is my past and we will never be together again. Yet, yesterday he began e-mailing my little sister on her myspace and asking her to ask me how he can get back into my life. I feel like I've been more than up front with him and he's just not getting it. I have purposely not told him that I'm involved with someone because I feel that it will further encourage him. What else should I do? I'm not sure why he isn't understanding me.

I would have your little sister tell him that there is not possibility of getting back into your life, and to please stop harassing her. Then have her block him from her email. That should give him the hint. If it gets to the point that it is "out of control" with his inquistion to get you back, file an order of harassment with the court in your county and have him served. You deserve to get on with your life and find a man that is worthy or your gifts!!!! Good Luck!!!!

I get the feeling that he's one of those annoying guys who either a) takes quite some time to get over a break up or b) is really possessive.
I suggest that you tell your sister to block him from accessing her Myspace and messaging her. You might also want to go to a neutral party such as your chaplain and explain the situation. He/she might have to have a talk with this ex. Also, it doesn't hurt to inform your parents of the situation. They'll always keep a good eye out for you especially since you don't want him near you or your sister.

E-mail him back and tell him to leave your sister out of it, also tell him you do not wish to go back with him and you have another b/f! Tell him this is your final word on the subject and if he attempts to contact you again you will notify the police that he is harassing you and members of your family. Have a good day.

firstly tell him to back off on your little sister, he's not allowed to go through her, that's just below the belt.
Secondly talk to your sister tell him why you broke up, and why your ex is an ***. Then make her block him so he can't bother her again.
Eventually he should get the message, just tell him to leave your family and friends alone.
If you have his parents phone number or siblings call them up and ask them to get him to leave you and your family alone, that should put him in his place.

it sounds like she's attempting to get you in difficulty to coach on your ex that she's a larger than you. that's a low blow and he or she would be in a position to not go some distance with it. save your head up extreme do not enable her smash your temper. Play staggering and that's going to get on her nerves via fact she'll comprehend that her battles have not have been given any result on you or your daughter.

tell your sister to block his messages and I guess you'll have to be rude to him since he isn't getting the message when you are being nice to h im. Get a restraining complain to the police that he's harassing you. Get a boyfriend he will beat his *ss

Tell your sister to tell him that she is not interested in getting involved. Tell him that you have moved on, and it is time for him to grow up, and accept it. If he continues to stalk you, file a restraining order against him. Tell them that you are not only sick of him calling, but that you are afraid of him.
