Some times, ignorance is the fruit of innocence and which is natural.
Self righteousness is a behavioural problem due to ignorance.

But HYPOCRISY is different; it is an intelligent act to impress and cheat others.

So; Spiritually HYPOCRISY is the worst criminal.

If one is aware of ones ignorance then that can be an important starting point. Doubt is therefore (potentially) a Good Thing.

Conversely, self-righteousness, certainly to the extent that one thinks one is 'right', is a real barrier. Because as soon as one thinks one has all the answers the search stops dead.

None of the above. It is illusion which is the enemy. Ignorance is only a problem if it is coupled with the illusion of knowledge. Hypocrisy, self-deception, and self-righteousness are all illusions one perpetrates about one's self to that self and others. To escape illusion is to recognize that we are all ignorant, that a philosophizing is meaningless, and that our accomplishments are empty. Once we cease pretending we know how the universe works we are able to enter into harmony with it.

People who have to believe that they are right no matter what the truth is or how idiotic their ideas sound are the worse, they are the hardest to make see reason. I don't mean "reason" like my idea is better than yours. I mean reason like realizing not all religions are close enough to be called the same, or seeing that some women choose the burka and it's neither an obligation or a burden. Things that are obvious but the self-deceived refuse to see.

Ignorance is the worst.That is the breeding ground for all the rest that you have listed. If one were wise , he would easily understand that hypocrisy and self righteousness do not help in any way and would lead to ruination.Wisdom would throw light to the right path and ignorance leads to ruin.
If this is understood , one does not have to be angry with those who are hypocrites and self-righteous .they deserve pity .Gnana , wisdom will lead us to peace and bliss.
So only two qualities are responsible for everything in this world .Wisdom and ignorance .,wisdom breeds peace and bliss and ignorance breeds hypocrisy and arrogance , that is self -righteousness.

Ignorance, of course. Hypocrisy can be brought to light, and people can stop being hypocrites (at least in some ways, but really, ALL people are hypocrites in one way or another). Self-righteousness can ALSO be prevented, and people can learn to be more humble, and less judgemental.
Ignorance, however, can't be cured. Stupidity yes, ignorance no.

How does one rid of one's ignorance?
Determination, hard work, effort, concentration and patience. One must also be willing to admit one's self weaknesses rather than being too proud of it (egoist).

Hypocrisy, Self-deceit, Self righteousness are the result of ignorance. A person who is rid of one's ignorance are rid of all the consequential branches (as mentioned)...

ignorance is bad or worse if he is gyan yogi in the spiritualism.or you can say there is no meaning of gyan yogi with ignorance .
