Why do so many people fall for cons like this?

I expect a load of con men offering loans will post replies to this, proclaiming they are legitimate lenders!

Anyone advertising loans on here is breaking the Yahoo regulations so must be regarded as dodgy. I don't think that reputatable people would advertise loans on here.

As they say "there is one born every miniute"
= in UK we seem to more than out fair share of miniutes :-)

The chances of the con-merchant getting caught is minimal and the Criminal "Justice" system in UK is a joke - the Police would have no ideas what you are complaining about - and most con-merchants operate from outside UK and are thus 'untouchable' anyway

Not every one is a con man. There are good people who are willing to spend hour after hour answering questions free to help people. Yes to help them!

There are some people that only want commission, all they care about is payday and they don't care who they hurt.

Not every one is bad.

When it comes to people on the internet, yes you have to be careful because you don't know them. It is ok to talk to them, but make sure you get all of his information if you want to do business.
Get his name, phone number, company information; THEN IMMEDIEATLY CHECK HIM OUT! Do not sit there, go and find out what you can and not from the internet. If he is ligitimate, people know him. I don't know how to to it in England, but in the U.S. we go to the chamber of commerce, better buisness buraue and other banks. They will give you information that you need not just on that person but also other loan options.

You will end up having to pay for the loan, but in the U.S., We alsways take the money out of the cloan at the end. I t is called closing costs. That is how much money you will need to pay in order to close the loan.

all people offering loans even with the incontrovertible fact that a Yahoo e mail address would not get sufficient interest from me to locate they seem to be a rip-off. I certainly have observed many of the unsolicited mail i'm getting carry of lists a Yahoo or Hotmail address in the from container. maximum of those have forged headers and the address in no way certainly existed.
