How far will the government of America go to take control of everything? Have the people forgotten about their rights? Everyday the congress and all other forms of government take away or limit our rights one by one. Dose the freedom we fought for years all for nothing? The government needs to leave the troubles of society alone and the people need to get along and stop their own insanity. Has the oil crises and laws gone to yell in the last 10 years? Can anyone tell me whats not wrong with America because I can list about 100 things or more.

Same as usual. Running as a good government for those who could understand the government and bad governance for those who claimed to be bad and do not like the way how he was being governed.

America has turned its back on God. It's that simple. Jesus said you can only serve one master, you'll either love one and despise the other or despise one and love the other. He said you cannot serve God and money (mammon)

It the olden day America was founded on God and it was God that they served, now with multi-nationals they serve the alimighty dollar and who can stand in the way when there's a dollar to be made?

The Christain right deny abortions, gay marriage and other things yet they allow a terrorist like Bush enter countries by force and take over. Over 700, 000 innocent civilians have died in Iraq since the war started. It's disgusting and the other party over there has been approving the funding of the war.

Jesus needs to cme back and bring peace to earth.

As far as we let them. Of course any action to take America back from the corporation and politicians would be considered treason and/or sedition.

The only option available is it vote in people other than those the partys choose for us. Imagine, a Green Party or Libertarian congress and President.

But it's easier to complain than take any action...and you can't convince enough people to think differently enough to see a different or better America.

What is America, 2, 3 hundred years old ? A babe in the woods. Done alright so far but will be a far better country when she grows up. European countries have been at it for over 1000 years and still aren't perfect. The big difference is that they don't pretend to be.

We skipped a vowel. We went from "Greed is Good" to "Greed is GOD". Between that and the Media going berserk on the whole "political correctness" thing--basically making it "wrong" to be polite, kind or to have compassion for poor people--and you've got a situation where folks feel they *have to* be cutthroat or be social outcasts. It gets to where social norms get twisted and it becomes *expected of you* to be neglectful of, if not outright abusive toward, other people. That's the biggest two things. We pushed people to be greedy bastards just to get by....and at the same time we openly attacked, abused and humiliated anyone who dared to *think differently*. Calling them "politically correct" and "pinko liberals" and "pablum spewers". And yeah, some of it was an overreaction to Jimmy Carter and the end of the 1970s--the drugs and disco and all that. But come on, for 28 years now? 29? Really. Just my plug nickel....and I know, you're gonna hate me now. Sorry.

This is what I see wrong with America:
Free trade, alot of companies are moving their jobs to different countries. They know that can't get away with paying people the wages they can get away with in different countries.
Illegal people: saying they don't like America, but they sure are doing their BEST to get in here.

the easier question would be, what's right about it? .. . lol
nah . i like the US although i have no ambitions of going there yet . . .

Your country isn't completely ****** up(sry for teh language)

I mean, Mr. Bush isn't all that responsible (maybe 87%)
and i believe in individuality, there are good people out there . .

But somehow it has to be accepted that conservative countries and the such can't be solved by democratic influence, Some countries treasure their culture and i want to respect that . .

Nothing will be made right with America, if it does not learn to seek help outside itself

Umm....twinkies?

Sorry, that's just about all I could think of.

Edit: and by the way, it's really not our fault. We aren't a democracy as some people think. We're a republic. We don't get to choose a president. Our vote is mainly for show. The "electoral college" gets to choose who the president is.
