Giving a guy your phone number in a bar, will ge call?

Met a guy in a club on saturday nite, spoke to him most of the nite, till 5am, we got on well (i think), few kisses and he saw me home, he took my number but i havent met anyone in ages in this way i.e. at a bar, and just wondering if a guy takes your number in a bar how long it would be before he'd call you or text, if he actually liked you at all. Also whether guys actually do generally call or just take the number to be polite lol. Not hugely bothered if he calls one way or the other but i am curious what the avergae kinda turn around time for a guy to get in touch if he likes you after the initial meeting is and why guys ask for numbers. I think since its now, Tues morning then since havent heard frm him means that hes not interested, but my friend reckons its taken guys longer to respond. Curious as just wondering about the situation appreciate guys in a bar arent all looking for relationships and that spose he may not even remember me, just kinda bothered i may say wrong things

You don't mention how long it's been yet. I would think that he would call very soon afterwards, like the next day or at least within a few days. If he waits until the party and wants you to go there with him as the first outside the bar date, I personally would not go. I would question why he waited so long to call. Maybe he isn't that interested and just didn't want to go to the party without a date or is holding off in hopes of getting a better date. Sorry, I'm not trying to make you feel bad or belittle him as maybe he is, in fact, a very respectable young man. I'm just looking at all the possiblities since I don't know either of you. For your first meeting with him after he calls (assuming he does), I would want it to be somewhere neutral, not on his territory (like at his friend's house). If you get a chance to see and go out with him somewhere before the party, make your decision about the party after that. If he doesn't call you until around the time for the party, I wouldn't go, but I may agree to go out with him another time to somewhere neutral like I said. If he doesn't call at all, well, I guess that's an answer for you too. Good Luck.

Did he ask for your number or did you offer it to him.I met a guy in our neighborhood bar where everyone hangs out and he ask for my number and told me he would call me in a couple of days.He did call me and we been married for 28 years now so you see my dear it does work out sometimes.Are very much in love with each other he is my best friend my husband and my lover.Boy did I get luck when I gave him my phone number.Maybe you'll be as lucky as I was.

Let me say this, when a guy wants a girl, HE WANTS a girl. So even if he does call, I wouldn't really look for a future with him. He would have called you if he really wanted to speak to you. Of course, I don't think its you, its just how some Men do. He's busy.

the reason why he asked your number is that something about you interested him, maybe he is debating on whether to call and doesnt want to seem too keen, or there is a possibility that he has a gal and wont cal you back because he was too drunk and doesnt remember you
