Because in the last 2000 years this day and age is the first time people have rejected Christianity without being killed. Its a superiority complex that keeps them cocky. They'd say "Well it's in the bible and people have believed in it for 2000 years", but you know that's a bunch of BS. Granted Christianity isn't all bad, but the history is there.
Witch Hunts, Spanish Inquisition, it's the fear they have used, except this time it's the fear in the afterlife instead of "You accept Christ or we'll cut your F*cking Head off!"
This is a good day and age, I have no problem with Christians unless they insult me for not believing their silly stories. My whole family is Christian, and they respect what I believe in, so I appreciate that. We are lesser beings to aggressive Christians, so they think they can look down on us.
We should all just keep our religions to ourselves and not let it control how we perceive others.

The answer is simple.
When men put the bible together they had agendas. The bible is written to further agendas. I call them Christian Supremacists. These are the Fundies that picket gays while eating shellfish (just as bad a sin by the way), or being part of anything that makes them feel superior.
When you are told your whole life, (or better part of it) that you are the only right religion you get a superiority complex. Just as the Nazis were told they were better than anyone else because they were white, Christian Supremacists believe they are the only right ones.
I am Christian but my sect of Christianity does not adhere to the Fundamentalist teachings. Which mostly come from Old Testament law.
The Fundies pick and choose what laws they want to follow and break all the rest. If you tell these people that Its illegal to work on the Sabbath they will sneer at you , yet when it comes to something they are against they will push their verses like lawyers at the OJ trial.
Christian Supremacy is just like any other “We’re better than you” types of groups.
The One thing missing from today's Christianity is everything that Christ taught.

well i'm not the majority of christians, although my dad is a preacher, "only one that could ever teach me was the son of a preacher man" i love that jam anyway, it's kind of a recruitment, it's a good method in a way, voids diversity in the ranks, gets every follower on the same page, sometimes it's a good thing, like the army for example they pull the same tricks, if you have a group of people with the same belief structure you get solidarity, just think what if everyone on earth believed the same way regardless of the way, there would be less to disagree about, so less fighting, less disruption , more productivity, what if everyone believed n the words of jesus, or ghandi, or even the beatles, mostly those that preach of peace, wow beautiful, but it aint so, there will always be the violent, the greedy, the sinful hearts messing it up, and as long as that's prevailent there will be guys like me, all the violence and fun sin and rock and roll as the wretched with enough decency to not cross over to the wicked, man it's fun here

No one condemns anyone, except for God. I don't, You did, but oh well, people make mistakes.....
People hate that God is the Supreme judge and they can't vote or somehow sway the facts into their favor. Like it or not, getting away from sin is tough without God helping you, but He is always there when you come to Him.
Forget Him or not, He is still there, it doesn't make Him go away. I'm not sure what else you are looking for in an answer from Christians... :-(
I'm sure you have seen other Christians sin, so instead of being a police officer to God about that, why not try to let them know that acting that way is not something Jesus would have done, or something on those lines.....Saying that Christians are false is lieing, they believe in God, they just sin from time to time, just like every other human alive.
The difference is that they understand those mistakes, hopefully, and repent to God for His forgiveness......
If you totally don't recognize God as a factor in life or whatever, then oh, well,....at least you have heard about Him now.......

Sounds a little like you are condemning Christians?
Many people have their own god. There Are many gods, and many different faiths.
I believe in the Bible and the one True God.
And in loving and wanting others to know Him too, is that SO bad?

i accept there are many forms of religion and that it is their choice if they wish, but me personally am an atheist. i do believe that there is something after death,i just don't think its god or Buddha or any of the religions. i believe there is a higher power up there but i don't think 1 person,ie god,can take all the credit. lets face it with war, disease, violence and sexual perverts and all the other horrendous events that happen, would you really want to worship someone that lets all this happen. my friend had a daughter that died of meningitis when she was 6. she was an innocent beautiful little girl who hadn't had a chance to live her life, where was god then i ask. very thought provoking question. take care xx

As a Christian, a true Christian at that, we are not forcing you to believe what you do not want to believe. do your own. Anyway we not related either in the flesh or in spirituality and more so, we don't know you personally We are only answering the questions being thrown to ask. In spite of our efforts to explain everything about your doubt on our belief, you ignore us then you can go ahead to your likes, to your desire to believe. But please do not ever tell to people that we are forcing you to believe us. Do not forget our answer. NEVER NEVER forcing anybody else.

No, because neither is real. Christians are those persecuting others, yet calling everybody illiberal and hateful to conceal their anti-gay time table. and there isn't any longer some thing "moral" about homophobia or eliminating the civil rights frow regulation-abiding, taxpaying, gay human beings. Homophobia is a sin like mendacity, stealing and homicide. God hates sin. those stuck up in this sin might want to artwork to triumph over it particularly than recruit others into it.

Well, the bible teaches that in order to be saved one must accept Jesus as their savior and then do the things that he taught us to do. Christian's who claime this means everyone else is going to hell miss on one very important note. Jesus said, "judge not less ye be judged", In the end he is the one who decides how people are to be judged. I beleave that people will be judged by whether or not they followed what they truly felt was right (not just what they felt was easiest to beleave).

Christians don't follow Jesus as a "religion". They follow Jesus as if his words and actions were fact.
A fact like cancer will kill you unless you take chemotherapy (assuming it works 100%).
So if some other person thinks they know their own path, it's like saying they think they can survive cancer by eating hot dogs.
To a Christian, that person would be wrong and he/she would try to lead them down the better path.
