Well I don't believe in God so I think if I was ever to meet him/her I'd ask why do so many people not believe. I know I'd believe in God if I ever had proof. I believe in a higher power out there somewhere but I don't focus my attention on one source. Who knows. It all MIGHT be a coincidence but it might not. Anyways, I'm shutting up now or I'm gonna go on forever about this topic. lol.

As if I could withstand the VOICE of God anyway...But, I would probably ask:
"Was Jesus the one who got it right? Or was it John the Baptist?" I really think the Bible got it all wrong...John seemed more of a Holy man and in touch with the Divine source. his lifestyle reminds me of the Holy men of India, living in the wilderness, giving everything up (even the clothes on his back!) to pursue a closer relationship with God. Sure, Jesus did all those magic tricks and was popular with the people...but God's true message wasn't really a popularity contest.

Am I (are we) you ?

I'm of the thought that we are all of the same Light...that humans are simply, beautifully " streams " of Light emitting out from (God) the One...the One Energy...One Light Source.

Though an experience has been experienced of being before and of that One Light...And, when experiencing that ' moment '. . . that moment simply Was...There were no questions...Simply Knowingness.

So...part of me finds this question " silly " yet precious...as we are not only souls...we are souls living a human experience...and that being so...we ask questions.
.
Peace to you.

Wow, I am so saddened to read the answers to this question. I mean it really breaks my heart...

If I had one question that I could ask God.

How could you love me so much that you sent you son, from heaven to live in the misery of a human body, to die so horribly for my sin?

Actually, I have asked this, and He said that we are so loved...and that He promised He would.

I would ask Him why He let Satan talk Him into torturing Job. Job loved God and God knew it.It seems that He should have stood up to Satan on Job's behalf. I've never understood that one, but I know that God knows better than I do, so I just have to leave it at that. Maybe someday He will see fit to tell me. God Bless!!

Why haven't you blown the earth up and started over, only this time don't put yummy looking apples on the tree of knowledge of good and evil?

He can't flood the earth again, he promised he wouldn't!

If you are so loving and understanding, then why is there a need for ETERNAL punishment? I mean, I can understand a year or two, but forever? No second chances? Seems a bit out of line for a loving and understanding god...

Since when do we only get to ask God ONE question?

However, for your amusement, I would say a good question could be...

Aren't you tired?

I have asked my gods many of questions. The next question I would ask would be: Am I raising my children as they should be raised?
