To the best dad in the world, craig allen taylor
or also instead of putting his whole name, try his initials. you can always get a gothic or irish cross done, on the top of the cross place his initials and on the side of the cross place the yesr he was born and the other side the year he died.
also if he had a favor thing he love to do and item tattoo that and then put his name around it.

maybe you dont have to have words at all, unless thats what youre set on. instead maybe an image? i got a tattoo in rememberance of my grandfather, whos name happend to be Diamond, so lol of course, i got a diamond. possibly you could do an image with his initials, because youre right "in loving memory of" is just too normal and cliche. good luck!
