I don't know about others, but I always wear my wedding band. I even sleep and shower in it. The only times I didn't wear it was when I was pregnant with our sons (two different pregnancies) and my fingers swelled, and then I wore them on a necklace. I would never want to hide the fact that I am married. I love my husband and my children with all my heart.

It's usually just a band that they wear on their thumb, for no other reason than they like it. I do know some women who wear their deceased father's wedding band on their thumb, since that's the finger it fits. If people find that tacky then I just don't even know what to say.

This is a real case of double standards if I ever heard one. Why do most married men not wear them? Cause they don't want us to know they are married. It works both ways. Always ask if unsure.

I'm not married but I would ALWAYS wear my wedding ring. I'm not gonna get married to a guy I'm not happy and proud to be with - I won't settle. And that way, I'll have no need to seek satisfaction from other men..

People who wear a band often are asked if they are married because the interested party is in doubt and wants it confirmed by you because they are very interested in you for themselves.

I would love to wear my bands but i got very sick and now that I'm well I get itchy bumps under my rings and can't wear them, so there are reasons why people don't wear their bands.

When I get married they will not even get it off of my finger when I am gone. Once I am married, everyone and their cousin will see my ring, and hear how wonderful my husband is. They may get tired of hearing it in fact.
If this happened to you, I am so sorry. Such a nice guy deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
Blessings

Well, I don't wear mine while working due to the diamond sitting up to high & Idon't want to damage it. In my field of work we do alot & knowing my luck I will break it. So while working I leave it at home, when not working I wear it.
