Arturo Godoy- Gave Joe Louis hell. May have been his roughest, toughest opponent. Even Tony Galento couldn't get away with his rough stuff with the rugged Chilean.
Ever Hammer- as tough as his name. Benny Leonard called him his toughest opponent. When you consider how many guys Benny fought and beat, that's quite a compliment. Fought Freddie Welsh & drew with the great Johnny Dundee. TKO'd only twice in 101 bouts. Amazing considering era.
Eduardo Lausse- ask Gene Fullmer, whom Lausse knocked down and beat. Split bouts with Kid Gavilan.
Juan Roldan- Hagler called him his toughest opponent. Hearns said Juan hit him hardest of anyone.
Anton Raadik- ask LaMotta, Cerdan or Bobo.
Hon. Mention-
Leach Cross- fought McFarland and champs Ritchie, Welsh, Dundee, Wolgast, Nelson, Britton, Driscoll
Jeff Smith- Greb called him his toughest
Mustafa Hamsho- remember him? Benitez does.

Please add any I'm missing. I'd love to hear what y'all think.
